🌺 Had a delightful lunch at Maui in their newly opened, second restaurant just off Odeonsplatz in the center of Munich.
🏡The extensive indoor seating area is divided into spacious and cozy corners, giving off tropical vibes. In summer you can take advantage of the outdoor space located in the back.
🌴 What’s Special: Craving an escape from the cold winter? Maui is the answer! They serve healthy food in a tropical setting, making it perfect for business lunches with a key account partner, post-work dinners with your friend, or any occasion.
🍜 Delicious Lunch: Food arrived promptly and was incredibly tasty. I enjoyed the Vietnamese noodle bowl with tofu, specially prepared vegan (they substituted fish sauce with soy).
🌱 Vegan Menu: All main dishes offer a vegan option with tofu (or just veggies)
⏰ Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday lunch: 11:30-14:30, dinner: 17:30-23:00.
💳 Payment: Convenient by card, but I recommend having cash on hand in case the wifi is down.
🍲 Cuisine: A fusion of Vietnamese pho and noodle bowls, Thai red Curry, wok dishes (e.g., lemongrass, tamarind), fried rice, and Hawaiian-originated poke bowls. The evening menu also features delicious Hawaiian starters.
📍This is their second restaurant in Munich. The first, smaller and always bustling, is located at Rotkreuzplatz.
👍 Would definitely come again. Highly recommend for health-conscious eaters, vegan enthusiasts, or anyone who loves Asian food.
🤫Food Lovers: If you’re obsessed with your Vietnamese pho bowl or your tofu Thai curry, then you may not be fully satisfied in taste. In this case, I suggest going to either a Thai or Vietnamese restaurant. There are great options in the area or in Maxvorstadt.

Read moreCocktails were tasty and were beautifully arranged. Starters (mixed dumplings, salmon salad) were delicious, main courses (duck, king's prawns) were good too and also were nicely arranged on the plates. Items listed as "spicy" were not very spicy - good for my wife, who could easily eat her spicy sauce, not so good for me, as I would have preferred more kick in my hot sauce for the prawns. The service staff was very friendly, good-humoured and professional, we felt well treated. Overall, we enjoyed both our stay and the food and drinks - the pricing may be a tad high but this is to be expected in the city centre. If you want to try Hawaiian food, this place is definitely...
