TL;DR Amazing, but expensive food, drinks situation not great, nice atmosphere.
We came here to try out the Venezuelan food as it seemed quite appealing. The place is nice and cozy, and perfect to sit down in on a warm summer night. We tried various appetizers, and they were all amazing, especially the yuca fries. However, they are quite pricey. I can understand a certain price bump due to dependence on imported foods (plantains), but five or so slices of plantain for some 8€ is a hefty price nonetheless, regardless of how good they taste. The entrees are also really well-made (though I can't speak to authenticity). They involve a lot of corn, which I personally find a but overpowering, but my girlfriend liked it, so I'll chalk this up to personal taste. Portions are, except for the cachapa, on the smaller side for the price. That's probably OK, since it's supposed to be street food. Just having some nice snacks when going out for drinks would be perfectly fine, but...
... This is where the major disappointment sets in for me. For a full-sized price of 8—9€ per drink, getting served a half-tall glass filled with ice cubes and what I can only call drizzles of juices, is just a letdown of a cocktail. The gin&tonic was better in that regard, but come on, let us have more than two sips to a drink!
All in all, this place has a great atmosphere, nice staff, really good food, but just feels a tad bit overpriced to me. The cocktail situation just makes this not a good place to sit down and enjoy yourselves for a while, which is a real shame. While I don't think we'll be coming back solely based on that, I still think the quality of the food alone is so good that it deserves a visit from anyone who's curious, but come by with the expectation of a...
Read morewent there with a party of 12. We had a reservation
We arrived 8 minutes early, our table was occupied by other guests, we were asked to wait a couple of minutes at another table while it was sorted out. Didn’t think much of it.
A couple of minutes later we were told that we could have sat at our table, the table was now empty, no dirty plates or used glasses, nonetheless there was still some food on the table itself. Again… not a huge deal it can happen that they miss some rice or whatever it was.
At around 20:05 we’ve ordered food. What followed was a long waiting time. During which we witnessed people leaving the place and new people coming in. Somehow after roughly 1 hour my wife received the food (she was the first to get food in our huge table), the rest of us witnessed other tables with guests that were not even in the place when we ordered our food receiving food before us.
This went on for the entire time we stayed there, for the first time in my life I had to CANCEL an order. Past the 2-hour mark, we were ready to leave in order to get some food anywhere else. 3 more orders were delivered to our table, from the guests that joined us 30 minutes AFTER our initial order.
Absolutely embarrassing experience. Music too loud to be heard by someone sitting in front of you. Prices are relatively high for what it is (judging some of the food that we were blessed to see). Service absolutely abysmal.
Not recommended, but If you really want to go there, order some food from Deliveroo from another restaurant at lease you will be sure that you will have something...

🔥What’s special: This Restaurant offers typical Venezuelan arepas and they are a delight. 😋Daily lunch special from Tue-Fri with soft drink, yucca fries or fried plantains, arepa and coffee for 14.90€.
🥑 Vegan/Gluten-free: Arepas are gluten-free as they’re made of corn flor. I had the arepa Pabellon Verde with fried plantain, avocado and black beans.
😋Taste: Simply Delicious. Loved every bite.
📍Location: Super. Only 5-7 min by foot from main station and 5 min from Stieglmaierplatz
🏡Vibe: its right in the hustle and bustle of Munich center. You can sit on terrace or if you want more peace, choose a table indoor
⏰Opening Hours: since it’s a bar, it’s open until late
💶Price: I paid 14€ for one arepa, which seems a little pricey but I can’t compare with other locations.
💳Payment: Easy by cash or credit card
I would recommend Prygoshin to anyone who wants to try typical South American food, get a quick drink after work, or wants to meet with friends before catching the...
