We went there for dinner and we were not disappointed. The hosts were incredible, very friendly and in a very happy mood generally, which lifted up the spirits of all customers coming to have dinner. We were among the firsts, but by the time we left the place was full. There is a similar restaurant part of their chain a couple of metres down the street and people were confused as a lot of them thought they had reservation for this one, I cannot comment on the other menu as I am still to try it.
We had gin tonic and aperol, one of the best aperols I have ever tried, very authentic. We ordered bruschetta for starter, they were crunchy outside and soft inside and they were very tasty.
For main we opted for something I was craving for a long time, caccio e Pepe, it was delicious, the right amount of pepper and cheese. I would have added a tiny bit more sauce, other than that it was perfect. They also had a special daily or weekly menu, we went to try the beef tagliatelle from that one and they were on point. The meat was tender and juicy and the sauce with mushrooms was exactly what that dish needed. I would definitely pay them another visit, right after we try their other...
Read moreFriendly staff and nice place like a bistrot. There is a small terrace in front. One problem was the menu outside just behind a small table for 2 persons. If you want to look at that menu, you have to disturb the 2 persons sitting there. The meal was pretty good and the portion not too big but fairly enough. We took spaghetti alla carbonara and it was prepared the Italian way (no cream sauce!). One remark though, that pork slices were not of a very good quality... they were 80% fat and 20% meat. A bit disappointed by this last point. But I will think it was just bad luck at that time and that is not usual. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a lunch or diner, for a couple or for a group of friends, it is also possible. There were some tables of...
Read moreWe visited this Italian restaurant last night and ordered a pizza, a ribeye steak, and a hot chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. We also had a large bottle of sparkling mineral water.
The pizza was decent but didn't have any outstanding qualities. I think I'll try their spaghetti next time, as it looked quite good. The ribeye steak was tasty and had an average flavor, but the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, which was a nice touch.
The only downside was the high prices. For the amount of food we ordered, the bill came close to 70 euros, which felt a bit steep. However, overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend the restaurant for the...
