1 overall, though the place is lovely and the food was nice.
The service was by far the WORST we ever had in our life. What a pity.
Service was extremely slow, they were clearly understaffed and couldn’t cater for a full terrace. When the waitress finally came to get the order for the drinks and food, she took ages and multiple mistakes were made. For context it was only her third day at the restaurant, but it really didn’t justify all of the below:
During the drink order, we asked to swap one drink. When the waitress came with the drinks, she brought sparkling instead of still water and didn’t swap the one we requested. When we pointed it out, she got upset, blamed us for it, and wanted us to accept what she brought. We took the sparkling water anyway as a gesture but asked her to swap the drink as initially requested.
She literally threw the drink coasters across the table and only brought three drinking glasses when we were four guests. We asked for a still water (in addition to the sparkling one that we accepted) and for the fourth glass, she rolled her eyes and said it’s coming with the bottle of still water.
When eating our mains, we requested mustard which never came.
We then requested the bill to be split among the four of us and it took ages before it came, clearly the waitress ignored us because every other customers were served before us.
When she came for the bill, we asked to see the breakdown because at this point we weren’t sure what was going to be charged, and also because generally restaurants show the breakdown at the end but she didn’t. She rolled her eyes, and held the machine to our face in a very rude manner.
The joke in the end was that she even insisted for a tip, mentioning that the service was not included. What service exactly ? It was so disastrous that we skipped desserts in order to not have to go through the ordering process again.

This restaurant visit ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful day near Christmas. The service was shockingly unprofessional, unfriendly, and, most disturbingly, blatantly racist and discriminatory. Here’s what happened during our visit on 20.11.2024, from 19:00 to 20:30:

Der Service war schockierend unprofessionell, unfreundlich und, was am schlimmsten ist, offen rassistisch und diskriminierend. Unfriendly and Hostile Behavior When we ordered drinks, the female server practically threw the beer mat onto our table, displaying an outright lack of courtesy. (1. Unfreundliches und Feindseliges Verhalten Als wir Getränke bestellten, warf die weibliche Bedienung den Bierdeckel praktisch auf unseren Tisch – ein vollkommen respektloses Verhalten.)
Disruptive Conduct During the Meal While we were eating, she carelessly threw items intended for other tables onto ours, disrupting our meal in the most unpleasant way. (2. Störendes Verhalten während des Essens Während wir aßen, warf sie achtlos Dinge, die für andere Tische bestimmt waren, auf unseren Tisch und störte dadurch unser Essen auf die unangenehmste Weise.)
Inappropriate Comments During Payment During the payment process, which we handled one by one, the card machine malfunctioned briefly. The server sarcastically remarked, “Thanks to the energy of the table…” or in German, “Die Energie des Tisches…”—a completely unnecessary and rude comment when we were simply sitting quietly and waiting. (3. Unangebrachte Bemerkungen beim Bezahlen Während des Bezahlvorgangs, den wir nacheinander abwickelten, funktionierte das Kartenlesegerät kurzzeitig nicht. Die Bedienung machte daraufhin eine sarkastische Bemerkung: „Danke an die Energie des Tisches…“ – oder auf Deutsch: „Die Energie des Tisches…“ – eine vollkommen unnötige und unhöfliche Aussage, während wir einfach nur ruhig dort saßen und warteten.)
Insulting Treatment After a Complaint After one of the guests at our table expressed dissatisfaction with the service, the server retaliated in an incredibly degrading manner. She used two beer mats to carry our used napkins into the tray, as though we were disgusting or unworthy of respect (see below illustration). This happened even after I had tipped for my part of the meal. (4. Beleidigender Umgang nach einer Beschwerde Nachdem ein Gast an unserem Tisch seine Unzufriedenheit mit dem Service äußerte, reagierte die Bedienung auf eine unglaublich erniedrigende Weise. Sie benutzte zwei Bierdeckel, um unsere benutzten Servietten in ihr Tablett zu legen, als wären wir ekelhafte oder unwürdige Menschen. Und das, obwohl ich meinen Teil der Rechnung bereits mit Trinkgeld bezahlt hatte.)
Dismissive Attitude While Ordering At the start, when I tried to order food and drinks together, the server rudely interrupted me, refusing to let me finish my sentence because I mentioned food (Schnitzel) before the drinks. (5. Abweisendes Verhalten bei der Bestellung Zu Beginn, als ich Essen und Getränke zusammen bestellen wollte, unterbrach mich die Bedienung unhöflich und ließ mich meinen Satz nicht beenden, weil ich zuerst das Essen (Schnitzel) erwähnte.)
The service was not only terrible but deeply offensive. As a scientist, I am committed to reporting facts accurately, and every detail I’ve shared here reflects the absolute truth of what we experienced. This dinner, so close to CHRISTMAS, should have been an enjoyable and peaceful experience. Instead, it was destroyed by the disgraceful behavior of the staff. I do not know what we did to deserve such treatment, but I strongly urge anyone considering this place to think twice. If you value your peace of mind, avoid this restaurant—it could ruin...

if you come into a restaurant between 3 and 6 p.m., you cannot expect that the place is run in full effect. As I used to work (and still do) in the hospitality business I would not expect the full menu for instance.
Let me first state that I used to kove the place here back in the days and I always used to bring friends here visitimg. The same this time and I had announced it as a great place for food as always.
But it seems that the owner has changed and all the different impressions alone are not necessarily a bad sign but they summed up today.
I thought primarily that the paper menu which was on the tables was just the menu for these times of the day where the kitchen normally limits the dishes as they do not run in full strength. I asked, it is not.
But what really made me almost angry was the fact that the size of our dish was the size of a small to medium starter for the price of 13/ 16,50 €. There was no meat in there so is price is not justified by any means, even if all products come from...
