I am so infuriated about how BAD this place is , I have to inform other people so they NEVER GO THERE to eat. Me and my family went there to eat there and the chain of disasters was as it follows: 1)We are served glasses that are broken 2)After some time has passed , I notice a broken light hanging right next to my right arm...If I hadnt noticed it I could have been seriously cut 3)Arrives the antipasti and it is Ok 4)After 50 minutes waiting here comes the 2 pizzas and a mix of meats. The margerita I ordered was undercooked and had burned flower on its bottom. The crust not only wasnt crunchy , but raw in some parts due to the undercooking of the pizza/bad rollout. Here comes the INFURIATING part. My aunt ordered a mix of meats. Chicken was row and bluddy. Beef cuts were well UNDER RARE and COLD. They were as if they had just come out of the fridge, you could see the muscle fibers of the RAW beef.If you called a vet maybe he could rescue the animal and bring it back to life. None of the meats were seasoned , not even a touch of salt or pepper , and there was a bunch of cubed salt on the plate doing what? Standing in the corner of the plate. When we saw this we called the waitor to try and get the whole mix of plates on the grill again. When the plate returned , the spareribs returned tough and still bluddy. They meats were still not seasoned at all , so totally the plate was UNEDIBLE. 28 EUROS FOR THIS EXPERIENCE. 5)We ordered a second bottle of water that never came but were charged with it. To sum things up : 1)Broken glasses and broken lights decoration that can both hurt you 2)Raw , unseasoned and cold meats that costed us 28 EUROS that we were chraged after returning the plate saying it was not eatable(spareribs came back the 2nd time still bluddy and tough). 3)Sad pizza that was undercooked and needed seasoning as well. If I could I would give 0 stars. DONT ,DONT,...

This first time we came in for evening drinks at the Aperol bar, our server was amazing, friendly, fast and efficient. The amaretto sour I ordered was the best one I’ve ever had (not overly sweet and syrupy like the ones I typically have had in the US). Because of how great the drinks and service was (as well as equally great service at the coffee/dessert bar the next day), we decided to stop by during our third day in Munich for lunch on the pizza restaurant side.

Took about 20 before a server took our drink/food order, but once they did, they all came out super fast and efficient. The pizza was delicious, and the limoncello tonic cocktail was so refreshing for such a hot day. Marco behind the pizza bar was very friendly and helpful, and the two pies we got were incredible. We had the margarita and the Napoletana.

Although the food was good, our server never came to check on us and it took a really long time to get a server to take our order and even longer to actually pay it. Eventually I tried waving down our server, who completely ignored us, and then another staffer came by, who said his coworker would be right with us to take care of our check. Finally a third person came to run our card, and the machine was broken (it kept saying “not connecting”) but he was acting rude to us as if our cards were declined (we tried three different cards, all of which have more than enough of a balance to pay for our 50€ bill), and finally he re-ran one of our cards and it connected correctly and the payment went through.

Because of the service issues during lunch, I knocked it down by one star, but I would like to reiterate the friendliness of the pizza chef, Marco, and the great bar and coffee staff who took care of us on our...

I went to the restaurant to see how different the food, especially the pasta, is from other branches I have tried in New York, Dubai, Seoul, and Italy. Food was not so much different from that in other countries. But the service was the worst. The worst service I have ever had at Eataly among all the branches. It was my first time to be called "hey, hey" by a waiter to grab my dish by myself. The guy "Fabio" was kindly handing out dishes to others but it was only me who was served in this terrible manner. I don't know if it was because I was alone or if it was because I was an Asian. The guy even threw the bill onto the table, when I asked for the bill. Munich, especially the old town, is really a nice place to learn how Europeans perceive other ethnicities other than Europeans. It was really an unpleasant experience for 60 Euros. There are much better authentic Italian restaurants around the town where you can get the better food and the better service. This review is based on my experience 1 year ago as it has been removed by the restaurant or Google. I hope that there has been an improvement.
