I saw the leaflet at my airbnb room of this restaurant and wanted to give a chance and did my reservation online. When i went there there was a lift for downstairs which was the first good point for me, disable people are well valued. They showed me two tables as a single person and wanted me to choose the one i prefer which was the second good point. A middle age white hair sir served me and he was so nice and good behaved. Ive ordered their special franconian plate and my rotbeer. Rotbeer was a bit strong for me. But the franconian plate was unbelieveble. Really so delicious and a big dish really enough for a hungry person. After 10-15 minutes ive ordered apfelstrudel which was another delicious dish. And finished my meal with a coffee. The price eas quite fair for what they serve ans im so glad that i gave a chance to that leaflet on my room. If i visit nurnberg one more, i would love to visit the place again with a pleasure. Service was not good for multiple reasons. They basically demanded that we tip. We paid our bill and tipped the minimum as the service was not impressive, and after paying the waiter told us we forgot to tip? This is not the US, although even there this would leave a bitter taste in my mouth, but in Germany it's just ridiculous and not customer friendly. Also a person from our group wished to order a kids menu as they were not so hungry and wanted just a small meal, but the waiter refused and made them pay for a full 20€ meal instead and we couldn't finish it, then the waiter took away my other friend's UNFINISHED food as they went to the bathroom... We surely won't come here again.

Otherwise the atmosphere and the place was nice, the location comfortable, and the food quite good. The cellar is huge with big capacity. The beer is local and tastes amazing. Prices were quite high, though. They don't justify the...
