We visited the restaurant recently with our 6-year-old child. I understand it was a bit busy, and most of the guests were there enjoying drinks. Still, we placed our food and drink order right away, expecting a reasonable wait. Unfortunately, we waited two full hours for our food, and during that time, no one came to our table to explain the delay or offer any kind of apology. We politely asked about our order twice,(my husband even had to get up from the table and approach the waiter himself) and each time, the server simply said the food was comingâwithout giving any real update or checking back in. Given that we were dining with a small child, we at least expected the childâs meal to be served firstâor at the very least, prioritized in the kitchen. But that didnât happen either. The only item my child ordered was a simple mac and cheese, which typically takes no more than 15 to 18 minutes to prepare, even from scratch. When the food finally arrived, it was coldâwhich was very disappointing after such a long wait. This made me question: why offer a children's menu if the restaurant isn't child-friendly in practice? Having a kidsâ menu gives the impression that families with children are welcome and will be accommodatedâbut that wasnât our experience at all. To be completely honest, if it hadnât been for the fact that my husband invited us to this restaurant, I would not have brought our child here in the first placeâespecially if I had known it wasnât well-suited for families or young kids. I decided not to eat. Later, another server came by to ask if everything was okayâI appreciated that gestureâbut when he offered to box the food, I politely declined. Eventually, my husband did take it home, but I personally never ate it. I truly believe in supporting local restaurants, and I understand that busy nights happen. But clear communication, basic courtesy, and consideration for guests with children can make all the difference. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit itâs intended: to help improve the experience for future guestsâespecially families.
P.S. Speaking from my own experience working as a waiter while living in Australia, I know how hectic service can get. But even during the busiest shifts, I was always taughtâand made it a pointâto check in with guests, especially if there were delays. A quick update, a sincere apology, or prioritizing a childâs meal doesnât take much, but it goes a long way in showing care and...
Read moreFirst, I would like to mention the best waitress ever, that was working on 09.09.2022 evening and 10.09.2022 afternoon. Always smiling always kind. One of the best I have seen so far in Germany. Lets now skip to other details. On 09.09.2022 two of us were here and had burgers, Hazy Jane and Elvis Juice. It was really nice. 10.09.2022 we came in the larger group, ordered burgers again and 2 Hazy Janes and Punk IPA. After waiter came to us, I could immediately see that those 2 were not Hazy Janes. So I told that to him and as he has not spoken English nor German, other guy came, telling us some made up stories why it looked and tasted different. As I have lot of experience with craft beers I just told him that is not true, as I also have many friend that are making their own beer. When I went to pay, I told that everything was great, especially thewaitress, but that it is not correct to bring false beer and lie about it. He kept telling me that it is Hazy Jane, even I have drank that beer minimum 10 times. And it was not even hazy. 3 stars goes just for waitress and Burgers, everything else is 0. You should educate staff, not everyone who's coming is amateur in craft brewery. You already have average reviews on Google and it will just get worse and you will not last long. Try to be better, it is nice idea.

Read moreLove everytime I spend my time here. The service team is young, super friendly and always up for some stupid jokes. Reservation process was easy and worked fine. The food fits perfect to the beer. Went also one time there with my parents, who are around 70 now. It was the perfect birthday location for him. He went out really happy. đ
There are 26 different kind of beer as well as two sorts of cider. Also you can buy other sorts in cans and so you can take some sorts home. Ask the barkeeper's, you can try different sorts and they will help you to find your perfect sort. They all speak German as well as English. So it's a good opportunity to practice your English or German skills. đ
The ambient is in a lovely industrial style and invites visitors to stay longer. If you enjoy to drink your favorite beer outside and watch the people walking around, there are also some tables outside âșïž
Last but not least I would like to recommend also the vegan burgers, which I enjoy everytime. They are just delicious.
