The service at Αλεξανδρινό Κεμπάπ left much to be desired. The waiter seemed unmotivated and lacked enthusiasm, which affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, there was an error in the main course numbers, further indicating a lack of attention to detail. The quality and authenticity of the Greek food was disappointing. The Tzatziki tasted more like plain yoghurt than traditional tzatziki, missing the usual flavors of garlic and cucumber. With the Smoked Eggplant this dish was unappetizing and lacked the expected smoky flavor. The handmade Lahmacun was overly oily, and the meat tasted more like Sujuk, diverging from the traditional Lahmacun flavor. The Chicken Skewers were also excessively oily and lacked seasoning, making them quite bland. Finally the Kebab Giaourtlou, this dish was slightly better than the others but still not impressive enough to salvage the overall meal. The ambience was just okay. It wasn't particularly memorable or enjoyable, adding little to the dining experience. Unfortunately, the experience at Αλεξανδρινό Κεμπάπ was underwhelming. The lackluster service, coupled with the inauthentic and poorly prepared food, resulted in a meal that was largely uneaten. Improvements in both the quality of service and the authenticity of the dishes are necessary for a more satisfying...

On the positive side: the pork gyros are truly among the best. The house-made bread is absolutely delicious and definitely a highlight.
But what I really didn’t like: when a table is finished, they wrap everything inside the paper tablecloth — even unopened plastic bottles. This is unnecessary waste and also means a lot of useless volume to transport. I really hope they change this practice, because it feels careless and not environmentally responsible.
Another low point: after finishing my meal, I tried for 15 minutes to get a waiter’s attention to order another drink. I eventually gave up and paid. The restaurant wasn’t even half full — it was a weekday and daytime — so there’s really no excuse.
I’ll still give them another chance when I’m back in Athens, because the food is excellent, but honestly the service needs a serious...
Read moreI walked here on a weekday in late June 2022 for lunch. We just wanted somewhere to eat that was close to our hotel and found this place inviting with all its tables outside. The staff there knows English and they also had English menus.
I ordered the beef kabob with taziki. It came with pita and I found it just okay. Not the best but also not the worst. I also got their cookie ice cream since they were out of vanilla. The ice cream wasn't bad but nothing special.
They have a men's and women's restroom downstairs with the sink for hand washing separate from the toilet. The prices here are really reasonable. A lot better than some of the other prices you'd get at more...
