Very disappointed with this placeā¦first of all I was a ātouristā visiting Athens. But what the staff didnāt know is that I have Greek heritage and know my standards of food and service! I found this place by chance the day before & read good reviews online, so I decided to spend my last nights meal thereā¦.I completely regret it now & wish I went somewhere Iād been too before perhaps. The reasons for this is the fact that the waiters LIED to me that they didnāt have any GYROS/Doner meat left, making me order other grilled meats and perhaps to push to sell other meats or order more expensive meats!!? As I confirmed with the second waiter to make sure that they had run out of meat/wasnāt ready, a few minutes after this conversation, I saw a minimum of 10 locals buy Gyros wraps for take-away!! I asked the waiter āDimitriā whatās going on!?? He seemed off guard & got the other waiter to āexplain!ā He said it wasnāt ready when I ordered, it was so obvious that Iād been lied too, especially since I said to them I wasnāt in a rush!! So I ended up ordering two wraps, one pork Souvlaki & one beef/lamb kebab. The Souvlaki was lost inside the flavourless bread wrap & my beef/lamb kebab which I would not have ordered if theyād served me Gyros, had what felt like a piece of charcoal or stone in it, luckily I didnāt damage my tooth and quickly took everything out my mouth in a tissue. I do not enjoy writing negatively about places Iāve dined at, BUT, I must be totally honest I left there so upset & disappointed! Only good thing I liked was the cold beer in a...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll be honest - we followed the reviews and it lead us to (yes) huge portions, however, I wouldnāt say cheap or good quality. My partner is allergic to dairy - so of course they still gave us kebab with cheese in - after discussing this at length. Granted that could be a slightly language barrier thing but still and allergy is an allergy.
The chicken was undercooked / verging in parts raw and the olive oil in the salad very poor. Once we left the chicken, we were questioned about the remaining food and why we would waste it. Attitude at the end was hostile and Iād advise you to find another āauthenticā Greek restaurant to dine at, weāve eaten at a few and paid...
