Agape — Restaurant in Athens

To be honest....I was hoping the burger at Agape would be good. I recently moved into this neighborhood. But it's better than good. This has to be one of the best hamburgers in Athend. The texture of the beef patty is perfect (American expectations) - the toppings were a fabulous complement but not overwhelming the burger. The bun was perfectly toasted. The smash potatoes were crispy and tender. They added a honey Dijon sauce that - again - complimented the potatoes without overwhelming them. The decor, service, everything also excellent. Oh the joy 🎉 of having a restaurant this good in my neighborhood. I'll definitely return and try...

We dined at Agape while visiting Athens (from Canada). The patio was very welcoming, the ambiance was nice and friendly with lots of local people and groups of friends. The staff was friendly, and approachable. The food was delicious.

We had 3 dishes for 2 people. Everything was very tasty with fresh ingredients and unique flavors and combinations. We also had 2 cocktails and a glass of Greek wine. All drinks were delicious too. They have an extensive wine list with several local options.

Quite an inspired place. Elegant interior design with attention to details, cozy and chilling ambience. Polite and attentive service. Huge assortment of wines. Excellent quality of food. Highly balanced tastes. The burrata was really refreshing. I would have preferred a whole tuna fillet instead of cubes but the course was really tasteful in general. Note: the yogurt-wasabi sauce is TOO spicy so avoid or use small quantities if not a fan. Price...
