Barrett — Restaurant in Athens

We have been there yesterday with my wife. She is pregnant... I ordered one beer and she went for a "homemade lemonade". After the first drink she ordered the same. When the waitress leave the ticket we could see "8 euros" on it... we were surprised about the price as it was written 4 euros on the menu. So we asked the waitress and she said no "the BABY lemonade" is 8 euros showing us a "Gin cocktail" on the menu! So I told her "but we did not ask for that drink! She is pregnant and she cannot drink alcool!!" She said "oh sorry I did understand a "baby lemonade"... (This can unfortunately happen...) So she took back the gin cocktail and bring her a homemade lemonade... when we ask to pay she asked us to pay for the 2 cocktails! 😲😲 So I said "no sorry, first you did not understand and because of you it can be dangerous for my wife pregnancy but moreover you want me to pay for both cocktail included the second one that she has not even touch ?!" So she called the "boss" and in front of him she said that "WE DID ORDER THE GIN COCKTAIL"!! (Baby lemonade) It was not a missunderstanding from her any more... The reaction of the manager was even more extraordinary as instead of giving us some apologies he said "next time be carreful when you order...!" so I told him that it was not even for the money and the difference between the gin cocktail and the homemade lemonade but that we were just waiting for apologies as it s a big mistake... and he said "my friend I have the time for only one cigarret..." meaning please don t piss me off with your stupid coms.... (it was 8pm and not busy...) Will never go again and not recommand as who wants to give money to this kind of person ?? (+ it s not at amazing...

Racist bartender, picked up on us for smoking while everyone else was, we asked different staff member ahead, and they said we can smoke , been going to the place for years and it was really great, so I'm very disappointed. Hope they fire the guy because it's such a waste for a nice place to have a racist stuff member

Edit : the baby left. we asked another staff member, and they said we could smoke ,then had a drama show from this bartender. It's not good to be a liar. Just own up to...

Funky groovy place for drinks. They have an outdoor area which is super nice for a date or just to hang with friends! The playlist ranges from rock/pop/alternative. Very much of a vibe. Indoors is quite alternative as well with artwork displayed for sale: basquiat inspired pieces that really suit the atmosphere of the place. The cocktails are great- Caiprinhas are my favorite when I come here. Definitely recommended as a stop on your bar crawl in Athens with friends or for a chill but...
