Cafe Lycabettus — Restaurant in Athens

A must have experience if you're in Athens, you can dine at the highest point in Athens overlooking the city and beyond, you can see all the way to the ocean.

The restaurant is on top of Lycabettus Hill at 277 meters, you can get there by either walking up the hill side or by Cable Cart.

To find the Cable Cart, Google: "Lycabettus Hill Funicular" (It's around 10€ for a round trip.)

• Sunset • To catch the Sunset, reserve at 19:00 so you'll catch it, it's quite something ✨

• Food • Great and reasonably priced, you can view the Menu directly on their website along with the Wine Menu.

• Atmosphere • Incredible, it's hard to keep up a conversation and focus on anything else other than the view, it's that amazing, seriously, a dinner on top...

The four of us wanted to sit at a table by the window and put the tables together ourselves. The waiter told us that this would be a nuisance to other guests, so we put the tables back together. At this point, the waiter started to discuss us with the other guests.

If there is no noise, why discuss us with irrelevant guests?

As for the food, don't have any expectations!

There were no side dishes except what was seen in the photos and described on the menu! Beef patty with fries, just beef patty, fries and nothing more.

In addition, the spaghetti, beef patties and fries were very salty and we had to drink water constantly.

To be honest, the sunset scenery is really great! But...

Заказали каппучино и зелёный чай . Чай прекрасный . С каппучино был вопрос. Муж поднял кружку чтобы сделать глоток , на блюдце вся салфетка и само блюдце были в пепле от сигарет . И низ кружки был грязным . Попросили заменить. Вежливо обратили внимание официанта что чашка грязная и блюдце нам подали использованное кем то .... Официант принёс каппучино .... внимание !!!!! В той же чашке . По ходу он просто заменил блюдце , но не протёр под кружкой . Она осталась грязная . Объясните пожалуйста , что у вас происходит . Кофе муж не пил. Но счёт нам принесли и кофе был включён. Мы обратили внимание официанта что он принёс нам тот же кофе . И что платить за него мы не будем. Официант сказал что да , мы правы , он понимает ,но если мы не заплатим то он должен будет сам заплатить. В результате муж заплатил. Мы позвали начальника смены , он нам начал объяснять каким образом была испачкана чашка и что это совсем ничего страшного. На вопрос , стал бы он пить в заведении кофе из грязной чашки , его ответ был - нет конечно. Очень неприятный опыт . Надеюсь услышать ваш ответ. Это позор! Заведение в центре столице и такое происходит . Создаётся впечатление что вы используете хорошее расположение и абсолютно не...
