Cafe Merlin Theocharakis foundation — Restaurant in Athens

I was a bit sceptical seeing some of the reviews complaining about the service, but decided to give this café a chance. Something I regretted after my son and I were left to wait for an hour before our two pasta dishes arrived. People that came after us were being served, and when I commented to the proprietor (supposedly) that came with our food, he simply replied it depends on what you order how fast you get your food. Does this mean it takes 1 hour to prepare two pretty simple pasta dishes? I must say the food was just ok, but the service is absolutely appalling.
