Mikromeria Athens — Restaurant in Athens

We’ve been in the restaurant twice during our stay in Athens. Food was very good, it was convenient for us, nice breakfast menu. This place has a looot of potential unfortunately service is a joke. Lady that is working there (very long dark hair) clearly doesn’t like her job. Both times we’ve been there her kids (or at least assume it was her kids) were there for extended amount of time. She was constantly playing with them and ignoring costumers. Lady was running around with two boys, spanking for fun each other (not appropriate but maybe it’s ok in Greece), generally behaving like she’s at home with her kids only. It took awful lot of time to even get a menu because clearly actually working wasn’t her priority. If that was not enough she was standing in the front entry to the restaurant vaping, vaping going to the costumer, vaping leaving the table, vaping, vaping, vaping. During our second and definitely last visit there we ordered some drinks and food. After she was done playing with her kids and awful lot of time she finally brought our drinks but wrong once informing they don’t have what we ordered so she just brought this. After longer time our food arrived. We ordered main lunch dishes, both were completely cold, clearly send out from the kitchen a while ago and just ignored by the lady and not served to us.

It is a pity because food is really good there, atmosphere nice, good location. Overall it is very nice restaurant but with very unfortunate personel choice ruining...

I loved the food!! It was amazing :) I was also really grateful to the waitresses for letting me charge my phone while I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere was wonderful, I even felt like I was in the Mamma Mia! musical.

The only thing I could complain about is that when I sat down outside, it took a while for the waitress to come to me. Just before I sat down, I saw an older couple arrive, and she went to them almost immediately. I’m not sure if she thought I was only there to charge my phone or if it had something to do with my age, but the difference in response was noticeable.

Another thing that I’ve noticed is that she immediately brought water to all the other clients (even before bringing the coffee) but I needed to ask for it, as when she brought me the coffee she hasn’t brought me the water yet.

But overall the experience was...

I recently visited this place and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a club sandwich, and the bread was broken, as you can see in the photo I’m sharing. It was really unappetizing and not what I expected from a place that seems to take its food seriously. Additionally, I asked the staff to lower the music because I was trying to work, but my request was completely ignored. I ended up having to leave because the noise made it impossible to concentrate. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to the meal, but the lack of attention to both food quality and customer requests really ruined...
