I came here for lunch. The restaurant reminds me of cozy mom and pop restaurants with a full authentic Greek style local dinning experience. The food was excellent, I had one of the best lentil soups here. The welcoming bread was very good served with olive oil. I ordered a feta cheese that was amazing. The French fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside and perfectly inside, also perfectly flavored. My friend ordered a fish that made my mouth water just from the aroma. I can’t leave out the amazing mashed potatoes and last but not least the dessert and service were very heart warming. This is a place where locals frequent and as much as visitors. I recently visited a delightful cafe in the heart of Athens and was very impressed! The atmosphere is truly unique – cozy and warm, with traditional Greek flair. The service is very common, but it attracts: employees are friendly and always ready to help with menu recommendations.

The menu is varied and impressive, with an emphasis on local ingredients. The menu differs some dishes change, and some do not. Coffee is great. It is mainly run by local Greeks. The prices are very pleasant and you will be surprised.

Within walking distance to our month-long flat stay in Athens, P.S. Restaurant is a no-frills Greek restaurant with already-prepared food that you can see behind a glass counter.

We walked in and were directed upstairs to a table for four. (There’s main floor dining and a front outdoor patio.)

Service was quick! Within minutes, we had a pitcher of ice tap water and bread on our table. (The bread and tap water are complimentary.)
