Rock n Roll — Restaurant in Athens

That's a bit tricky. I assume without the COVID situation and absolutely packed it'd be more than perfect. We managed our way in (yes, we first got a 'no can do', then someone said something we didn't understand-we don't speak any Greek^^ anyways after that we suddenly were allowed in) and got gintonic for 9euros, coming from Berlin and comparing to the other places we have been to, that's quite expensive. The food smelled delicious but we spent all our money on the drinks. Personally it was a bit too posh for me and too hip. So booking at table a month in advance asking for 11 people , we were told the consumption must be at least 250€ … ok no problem …. As it is Christmas… we arrive and the table is for 1 person the other 10 I have no where or how they would consume 250€ in alcohol …. Dissatisfied disappointed would be an understatement… I’m shocked at the young lady telling us that that is your table … will you be staying or can we give your 1 seated table to some other victims waiting outside ….. ( oh and when we booked A MONTH IN ADVANCE we asked for a specific table next to the dj) the only polite person was the young gentleman...

Food was ok but the service not so good. What I found disrespectful was that when I paid the bill for the party of people I invited and the bill was a good amount of money, I left a tip for 5% as I wasn’t that satisfied and the waitress had the audacity to tell me that I had to leave a tip of 10%. This is the first time something like this is happening to me and I have been to so many places all over the world.
