Poco a poco — Restaurant in Athens

We visited Poco a Poco with friends on a weekday evening after dining nearby. The ambiance and lighting were pleasant, and the outdoor heaters added a cozy touch.

However, the service left much to be desired. Initially, our waiter displayed an unwelcoming attitude, which seems to be a recurring issue based on other reviews.

Additionally, we were a group of five, and while four of us ordered drinks, the fifth member, unable to consume alcohol, attempted to order tea. Unfortunately, the waiter swiftly declined the request without explanation or alternative suggestions, demonstrating a lack of care and understanding. It raises the question: is tea unavailable late in the evening? This experience highlighted a significant gap in hospitality.

This morning, I noticed this elegant restaurant while walking back home from the class. I stopped to take a look at the menu and as a ‘’ brunch chaser ‘’ I decided to give the creamy scrambled a try as it sounds delicious. I ordered a latte coffee too. Απαράδεκτη εξυπηρέτηση !!!! Να έχεις κάνει κράτηση για τραπέζι φαγητου 8 ατομων για γενεθλια μερες πριν και να έχεις τονίσει στην υπευθυνη κρατήσεων οτι επιθυμείς το τραπέζι να είναι στο μέρος με τους καναπέδες και όταν φτάνεις να σου λέει ότι δεν το σημείωσε και να έχει την παρεα σου να περιμενει 1,5 ώρα όρθια και στο τέλος να σας βάζει σε ενα απαράδεκτο τραπέζι με καρέκλες που ουτε στα τελευταία καφενεία του 1800 δεν είχαν και να είστε στριμωγμένοι σαν σαρδελες!!! Να σου έχει πει ότι μόλις αδειάσει ενα από τα κανονικά τραπέζια θα σας μεταφέρει εκεί και να μην το κάνει ποτε !!! Τα παιδια του σέρβις χωρίς καθόλου εμπειρία να φέρνουν λιγότερα πιατα απο τα άτομα που κάθονται στο τραπέζι και ό,τι άλλο ζητάτε να πρεπει να το ξαναζητησετε ή να πας εσύ ο ίδιος μεσα στο μαγαζί για να το παρεις!
