Molfetta Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

A very nicely furnished restaurant right on the beach. The restaurant has very plush sunloungers to rent for a reasonable fee - the beach attendant is very friendly, efficient and caring of families. We also chose to eat in the restaurant. Service here is great, just was a little slow. Thankfully the venue itself and views over the bay help the time go by. We had a fish platter for two and ordered oven baked feta and fries as extras (not necessary). Fish platter was a huge and very delicious plate of sardines, prawns, mussels, squid, swordfish and fried anchovies - absolutely worth the money!

The beach attendant helped arrange us a taxi back to the cruise port which ended up being a luxury minibus but cost little more than the taxi fare out. Really great...

Amazing place!! Loved it!

Went twice: The first time I got a 4-person seafood tray with some friends and it was extremely good and very diverse. There were also some people dancing, so the vibe was very nice for a dinner.

Because we liked the food so much, we decided to again for the next dinner, and our evening was even better! The food, the desserts and the ouzo were very nice.

What I loved the most was the atmosphere, as after some nice shows the ring was open to dance, and we had so much fun!

Would totally recommend anyone to go and take the seafood mix plate. Even though I like to check out different experiences, after two times, I would still surely go here again if I'm ever in Corfu...

On our first evening in Gouvia we decided to eat dinner at the Molfetta Restaurant mainly because it looks very lovely and is right next to the beach. The starters were quite good, especially the Tzatziki. The greek salad was bland but okay. The main dishes were worse: The burger I ordered was just the meat, which was unexpected but it was the taste that made it unenjoyable. The sausage we ordered was raw on the inside, nevertheless the taste was fine. All of that wouldn't be that bad if the price would have been quite low but it's quite expensive compared to other restaurants. The drinks were good though and the waiters and waitresses...
