UNBELIEVABLE!!! VIOLENCE THREATS!!!
The manager of the restaurant threatened to use violence against us!!! His behavior is a disgrace to the islandΥ and to Greek tourism. Here are the facts. On 05.08.2024, we reserved a table for 8 people at 10:00. At 10, I came down from the roo m with my son to sit at the table. When I asked where we should sit, the manager informed me, pointing to a specific table where people were still eating, that the table was not ready and that we should wait if we wanted to. I informed him that I would go back to the room and come down shortly. Meanwhile, my wife, daughter, and a related family arrived. When I came down again, I was surprised to see that they had been seated at another table, the only one in the restaurant with chairs only on one side. So, we were sitting eight people in a straight line!!! As I was preparing to complain, my friend noticed two large cockroaches in a flower bed with pots behind my wife's chair and very close to the window where the food is prepared. When this happened, I approached the manager, telling him that the table was unsuitable for us to sit at and that it was unacceptable to eat with cockroaches around. I continued by saying that perhaps it was better for us to leave, and the manager replied with offensive attitude , "Yes, leave, because the reservation started off wrong from the beginning." Without him even apologizing to us, we left, and I informed him that such behavior was unacceptable and that customers should not be treated this way. Naturally, I also informed him that I would write a corresponding review. At that point, the manager openly threatened me with physical violence and said that this is Corfu and that I don't know what I'm getting myself into. I asked if he was addressing me, and he continued to threaten me. Today's review is simply a warning to all tourists who decide to visit this restaurant. Be very careful!!!! I hope the restaurant takes the appropriate measures...

We stayed in Corfu for a month and dined here numerous times. The Moussaka is delicious, the salmon (order it medium rare) is divine with couscous, even the hummus is divine...but the seafood moussaka is truly inedible! You CANNOT bake squid in a casserole dish and call it 'seafood'--it turns out like rubber. My portion had burned eggplant, no more seafood than rubberized squid, and it was a dish I truly could not even swallow--and I can eat just about anything. I truly could not eat it. My husband's traditional moussaka was lovely, and I had the salmon twice in two other dinners, and it was exquisite. TO THE CHEF: YOU CANNOT BAKE BITS OF SQUID in a casserole of any kind! It will rubberize, If you're going to do seafood moussaka--basically any seafood that's baked--best to stick to a mix of salmon and whitefish,or add crab, with a few grilled shrimp on top cooked only for three minutes. That is the secret to perfect seafood: three minutes on a hot pan...salmon and whitefish bake well, but squid baked makes a mess of things. Pure rubber, unable to chew, and a bland, dead taste. Plus, squid does not constitute 'seafood.' Seafood, on a menu, is a mix of things. PLEASE rethink your seafood moussaka. We enjoyed your service and your ambiance and...
Read moreMe and my partner ordered a Fish Bianco, a Pastitsada with rooster meat and a still water (1l) to split them.
We stayed inside which it was perfect because outside was a bit cold and started to rain again eventually
The Fish Bianco was excellent. An unique combination of tastes. The taste of garlic didn’t came out too strong and it was ok like this for us.
Pastitsada was good and large enough for both of us to eat from it and still couldn’t finish it. But it was not excellent for our taste.
The total price / amount for these was 44 euro and we paid by card and asked the waiter to add a 10% tip. So total of 48 euro for this lovely dinner.
The serving was great. All good. No problem.
At the end of the pictures you find the whole menu...
