Funky's — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

I stayed in Chania for three nights and went to Funky's at least 10 times.

Really great pizza slices for a great price. Always fresh.

Theres a long line but it goes by VERY fast. You won't be standing for longer than a minute or two.

Margarita slice is €1.80, they're the freshest.

The staff are both nice and very efficient, the keep the line moving smoothly.

I'm the morning they have breakfast pastries. Pizza's start at 10am.

Coffee here is great too. €1.80 for a cappuccino with a free bottle of water.

Theres no seating in the restaurant, but there's plenty of benches nearby in the parkette across the street.

I asked one of the workers of they have any other locations. They have another one in Thessaloniki.

He also said they closed down the first location because it was TOO busy. Imagine that.

Funky's was definitely the highlight of my trip to Chania....

Fast and delicious! One of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy. Sure it is vastly different from italian pizza, but damn they're delicious!

One of the big slices to go is seriously filling during the summer heat, but I've since come back and ordered a family sized pizza, too. And it's just as delicious the next day! Either cold left overs for breakfast or reheated in the oven for lunch (I've tried and loved both).

Despite the many patrons staff is still super friendly and helpful! We even got one pizza half-half with two different toppings.

Oh and its such a steal! Perfect if you're traveling on a budget or still kinda young and regularly broke haha Proof that you don't have to spend a lot to get some...

This place is open 24/7 and always busy for good reason. It is the cheapest place in Chania, and the quality is as good if not better than some of the local expensive bakeries. I went several times. The margarita pizza slice was only 2 euros for a large slice. A thin quality base with a tasty topping. I also tried the sweet bougatsa, which was to die for, also 2 euros. You have to get this before lunch, or they will be gone. I also tried the spinach and feta pastry, which is also very nice. Everything is fresh as it has such a fast turnover.
