A fusion take on Cretan cuisine with ultimate care to the local ingredients and how they’ve been cooked on the coals.

The beef tartare with cuttlefish, truffle and caviar was excellent (ingredients carefully cut and mixed together). As a suggestion, the truffle oil could be brought on the side, to be added based on personal preference.

The Tarama with Sfakiani was very enjoyable, and the open pie with wild greens, local cheese and fresh truffle was the star of our starters. A seemingly simple dish, but with such complexity in flavours and textures.

The mains were equally outstanding. The Youvetzi Orzo with short rib - tender and full of flavour, it’s a hearty dish I would truly recommend. The hanger steak was tender and very tasty, cooked as requested and served with beautiful root vegetables.

Stavros and Yanni provided amazing Greek wine suggestions (we were truly impressed, particularly with the reds - coming from Australia and Spain it is a genuine compliment), and they both made the experience truly...

We had dinner at Epsilon the last day of our trip to Crete. We could not have picked a better spot! What you get is typical dishes from Greece / Crete but with a twist.

Hidden gem in the center of Heraklion , a rooftop restaurant with breathtaking view of the city, with a cozy romantic atmosphere.
