Wow - what a belter of a steak!!! Popped in for food on our first night in Kos town but didn't order a steak. Opted for traditional mains instead, which were great - and worth a revisit alone!
Whilst there we saw a tomahawk steak arrive at the table next to us and it looked like something from the Flintstones. Simply had to go back and try one.
So we did. I am a massive steak fan and I can honestly say that the steaks we received by far were the best steaks we've ever had. Cooked to perfection. And delivered by gregarious waiting staff who were so welcoming.
I opted for the 850g (29oz) tomahawk and my son dived into 10oz ribeye. At first I thought the tomahawk was going to be a meaty photogenic gimmick at 39€ but instead was simply blown away by the meat quality, its cooking perfection and presentation.
Plenty of photos were taken, both by myself and guests on neighbouring tables!
Definitely not a gimmick and definitely worth...
Read moreI really fancied a steak... I certainly got one! Irodion did not disappoint, I ordered the tomahawk steak, my pictures, do it no justice at all, I asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly, lovely crust, and seasoned well, it was served with new potatoes, and some strange type of dried noodles (which I presume must have been for decoration) and a really tasty peppercorn sauce. Glad it wasn't served with anything else or the steak may have defeated me. We also ordered the salmon, which I am informed was also really tasty. Service was good and staff friendly. Definitely a restaurant...
Read moreThe cheap beers drew us in but we returned because of the staff and atmosphere. Friendly staff with great humour. Extra stars for Delfin who was quick witted and fun👍🏼 Nice and relaxing, prompt service. Good food. Nice to sit and watch the boats. Only negative was the lady behind the bar who took payment who came across as rude every time. I hope she was just having a bad week and this isn't how she normally is as it's really the only negative. Thanks guys, you made...
