Title: Come for the Promise, Stay for the Disappointment
Ah, Felarakia Restaurant in Kos. Where dreams go to die — slowly, over the course of 20 long minutes. That’s how long we sat, menus in hand, expectations rising like the Mediterranean sun, only to be informed (eventually, and without a hint of urgency) that the food we ordered isn’t available.
No explanation, no suggestion of alternatives. Just a casual “oops, sorry” as if forgetting to stock actual food is a minor inconvenience, not the entire point of a restaurant.
But the true masterpiece? They still charged us for the water. Yes — for the water we drank while waiting for food that never arrived. Because nothing says hospitality like being billed for disappointment hydration.

It is absolutely worth taking a short walk past the busy harbour. Where during the day the beach is the busiest, in the evening it is incredibly relaxed and convivial to sit here on this side of Kos.
