Island Life — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

My partner and I visited Kos for a handful of days and decided to book this relatively new to the market apartment. We were not disappointed. The location was perfect, right next to amazing beach bars, restaurants and taverns. The beach was only a few steps away from us, fully equipped with sun beds, bar service etc. The apartment itself was fully equipped, apart from all the standard things one would expect, it also offered a washing machine, iron board/ iron, even a hairdryer with a diffuser ! Everyone working at the restaurant below was very friendly and chatty, they all went above and beyond to offer us a pleasant stay, helped us with airport transfer (highly recommended), offered suggestions as to where to dine and drink and gave us insights into the ins and outs of Kos.

Giorgos and Maria made sure everything was spotless for us, Antonis, Zoe and Fatma cooked for us impeccable food, Dimitra and Christos kept the alcohol flowing.

I'd highly recommend staying here for your next visit in Kos, the place combines everything anyone could possibly need !

We've visited Kos multiple times over the years and spent most of the time at Angelica's (the name of the previous beach bar/restaurant). We always loved the place so we were a bit nervous visiting Island life for the first time.

But after the first greeting from Giannis We felt right at home once again. The restaurant has become more modern but kept its greek roots.

Same goes for the menu with a lot of great food both traditional greek and more common options. And after trying almost everything its safe to say all of them are great.

The beach is also very well taken care of Two sunbeds a chair and a small table on wich you can actually put stuff. Andonis takes care of all your needs and is one of the best servers i've ever met. A real profesional and very nice guy.

Also for a drink in the evening i would recommend vistiting just before sunset and have one of Leonidas's amazing cocktails.

Overall great place with very nice and profesionall people certainly worth spending your precious vaction time.
