The beach itself is absolutely stunning — small, beautifully designed, with crystal-clear water and a stylish beach bar setup. On looks alone, it’s definitely worth a visit.
But the service? Hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced at a beach bar. Completely unacceptable. The staff were consistently rude, unapproachable, and visibly annoyed at having to do their job. The level of unprofessionalism was actually shocking.
Everything took ages — drinks arrived after 30+ minutes, if at all, and that’s without the place being even remotely busy. I asked a staff member to change our broken sunbed, and he just flat-out ignored me like I wasn’t even there. It was so absurd, I genuinely started looking around to see if I was on some kind of hidden camera show.
Ordering anything felt like a battle. They’d ignore you unless you waved them down repeatedly, and even then they looked irritated. One time we gave up and went to the bar ourselves just to get a coffee. It still took nearly half an hour to arrive. When we returned to our sunbeds, a waiter suddenly appeared, finally offering to take an order — only to scold us for not ordering from the sunbed and insisting on a €15 minimum spend. We explained we had already ordered at the bar because they had ignored us earlier. Instead of acknowledging that, he got mad — apparently because if you order at the bar, he has to cover the difference.
Here’s the thing: we tried to do it their way. Multiple times. But if your staff constantly ignore guests, you have no one to blame but yourselves. The service here isn’t just bad — it’s...

When we arrived it was not busy, service came after 20 minutes. There’s a minimum spending of 15 euros for the beds and the umbrella which we were glad to see. We ordered a fresh juice, Pepsi and a croque madame. Drinks were fine. The croque madame was nice but it was served with a salad drenched in dressing. Waay too overpowering. Not nice at all.
An hour later it became busier, and at that moment the service dropped to an all time low. Our plate with food stayed on our table for 1 hour and 15 minutes before it finally got taken away. We also wanted to order new drinks but the server just took our plates and walked away.
After another 30 minutes we ordered 2 cocktails. The cocktails were not nice at all, the most expensive cocktails we had all week in comparison too all the other restaurants at the city and they tasted not nice at all. Looked like they dropped half the daiquiri on the way to our table and the mojito did not taste like a mojito at all… it was more like an icetea. The limes in our drinks looked very bad as well. Also it took at least 30 minutes to make these cocktails which is too long for a bad, expensive and nasty cocktails.
After an hour we wanted to pay for our drinks, but no servers came even close to us for 40 minutes. Very...

Day 1. 1/5 My wife and I arrived at around 1pm looking for a place to stay for the afternoon, ideally with sun beds and an umbrella and we were will to pay. Upon arrival, there was no reception area, no indications written for those who’d never been before and after waiting at the bar for 10 mins without any attention, we decided to move towards the sun lounging area and was told by a waitress that we will be seen to asap. 15 minutes later, and after numerous other members of staff passing us completely ignoring us, we gave up very discontent.
Day 2: 4/5 Because of the lack of options in Nafplio, we were forced to give it another go. This time, we arrived at 10am and grabbed sun loungers as quickly as possible. We were told that we could stay as long as we wanted as long as we spent €15 which was very reasonable. It was a very lovely day away from the main bar area, therefore more quiet, and the service was quick albeit not all that friendly. Food and drinks fairly priced. €5 for a beer and €5-€10 for a main course.
The moral of the story: get there early and grab...
