Carrera's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafplio

I’ve been coming to Nafplio for the last 15 years or so, and I have been in love with the Marinara at Carrera’s ever since my first visit all those years ago. Had one today, after a few years’ break, and it’s still as delicious, rich, cheesy, and flavourful as ever. I don’t know what the recent one-star reviews were about (was surprised to see those and slightly apprehensive), but after my visit, I simply can’t imagine anyone having the kind of poor experience they described — here, at Carrera’s. It makes sense that those are one-review accounts: maybe the competition is trying to spoil the restaurant’s reputation? Anyway, we had an absolutely lovely time. Worst restaurant experience of my life. I ordered a four cheese pizza and it tasted like straight-up plastic and cardboard. Cheese? More like chemical garbage. I legit felt sick after eating it. Service was a joke — the waitress took 20 minutes to figure out our bill like it was rocket science. Staff yelling for no reason, zero chill, zero vibe. We had a six people dine in, we've tried three different pizzas and two plates. Every single one of us and up satisfied with the taste and portion quantity. The customer service was great with good understanding of English. The menus are provided in English as well. The taste of the food was amazing, the salads fresh and the portions large enough to leave you with a full stomach. The serving time was quick.
