This Wine Bar is definitely one reason to visit Nafplio. The wine list is well informed as it comprises a variety of the most beautiful wine labels of Greece. The dishes to accompany your choice of either bottle or glass are well thought out with a range of options. We ordered a platter of cheese and cold cuts which was more than enough for two people and for its price good value for money. We were recommended by the very helpful and friendly staff a bottle of a full bodied Refosco which we enjoyed immensely. The prices of the wines are very reasonable seen in comparison to the wine cellar prices for the same labels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A place to visit any time you are in Nafplio. Wines were okay even though there are very few few by the glass given they advertise the wide variety of wine you can taste. But the service made this experience the worst as it was non-existent. After we got our first glass of wine, the waiter didn’t bother to come outside and ask if we wanted more for another 1,5 hours (not exaggerating, my glass was empty for 60 minutes before we left) and also didn’t check that we paid (which we did) when we left. This is for sure the best wine bar in Nafplio. It has the best atmosphere and both waiters are professional and have knowledge about the wines. They have a big variety of greek wines, that you need to taste while visiting this area. And you always get a nice snack together with the wine - like olives or cheese/sausages.
