La Pasteria — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

Unfortunately, my recent visit to this restaurant was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of the management team. When I pointed out an issue with our order, the female manager (in a blue and white striped outfit) rolled her eyes at me. Later, a drink was accidentally spilled on me by the staff, and no one came to help—I had to clean it up myself. Things got worse when the male manager misinformed me about a dessert meant for one person, saying it was for two, which caused all the dessert orders to get mixed up. Throughout the evening, both managers gave us cold, disapproving looks, and what was most frustrating is that there was no attempt to apologize or make up for the situation. A small gesture or even a sincere apology could have helped ease the tension, but instead we were met with indifference. On a positive note, the waitresses were very kind and helpful despite the language barrier, and the food was genuinely delicious. Sadly, the attitude of the managers overshadowed the good parts, and for that reason, I wouldn’t recommend this place. We ordered 2 pasta dishes, 1 portion of bruschetta, and 1 tiramisu. The cheese – always given in a tiny little container – not even filled to the top. We literally had to grate our own cheese! The bruschetta came thrown together in the box, completely messy and cold, as usual. And the worst part? The tiramisu was inedible. The base was just plain bread and the cream was SPOILED – sour and clearly gone bad. Honestly, I don’t even know when they made that disgusting thing. Ended up in the trash! Amazing food with okay prices and veryyy big quantity!! Huge pizza, just as italians eat it!(very thin) Also very tasty pastas and a big variaty to choose from! The staff is very friendly and very polite too, always ready to help. I reccommend sitting outdoors since you get to sit next to the relaxing green view of the trees, bushes and grass.
