Nestled in the heart of old town, Mateo restaurant is a charming, family-owned restaurant that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted like old friends, making us feel right at home. The cozy decor, complete with quaint, rustic touches, added to the intimate, homely vibe that’s perfect for a relaxing meal with loved ones. We started with the signature soup, which was rich and comforting, just like something grandma would make. Kids being kids ordered pizza, which were expectedly mediocre , they would usually eat local but had a craving, but for 10eur were poor value.
Location is nice on a side street.
Other tables seemed more pleased with food so perhaps we were unlucky...
