Archipelagos — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I came to enjoy my trip and drink some coffee. At first they were nice but then I started smoking “hhc” which I bought here in Greece and is LEGAL. Then one of the servers yelled!! at me in front of the whole restaurant “this is not Amsterdam lady” I immediately showed them the bag and that it’s legal just like cigarettes and they allowed it. Everyone in the restaurant were looking at me and it was so embarrassing. The people in the restaurant defended me and said it was ok with them but I was already not having a good experience. I will never come back here and I don’t recommend sitting here with their attitude! Hope you will never treat another person like you treated me!

Replying to the owner’s comment- I’m sure it’s this place I have a photo. I was sitting in the smoking area. Ask your servers it was yesterday and I wrote right after I left...

Excellent location right in the centre of the square but no tourist trap pricing. Everyone here is super friendly and the food is sublime, the chicken souvlaki is moist and perfectly cooked with fresh pitta and tatziki. We came here on the first night and ended up coming back three more times...

Highly recommend the chicken souvlaki, the gyros pizza, the baked feta, and the carbonara. All spot on.

They also have a roof terrace with several levels we didnt notice at first, the views from up here are great and the service just as good.

There is a good reason this is one of the only restaurants in the square not aggressively going after tourists, and why its bustling with guests every night.

We ate here twice for lunch. We only came in a second time because the greeter was very nice to us but honestly the food here (at least lunch food) is pretty disappointing. Everything was just meh and too expensive for what it was, like €8 for a sandwich. The service once you're inside is acceptable, it's quick but nothing special.

Do not buy the chocolate milkshake, I think they just mix chocolate sauce and milk so it is very thin and not rich. The club sandwich feels like and odd mix of ingredients, I personally would not have added the cheese or cucumbers but I think other restaurants do this too. The salmon sandwich would do well with some kind of sauce to make it less dry.
