Daios Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

A group of six of us went here for Christmas dinner and it was rather disappointing. The beet salad was tasty but everything else was below expectations. One person ordered lamb and was served pork (see picture) and the waiter argued that it was indeed lamb. It tasted like pork, looked like pork, had the texture of pork and was fatty in places like pork. I asked the waiter to check with the chef to confirm the type of meat served and we were told the chef was too busy. Two ladies at a table next to ours ordered lamb (the same dish) and it was completely different than the “lamb” served to our table. I've been to this place many times, and it's my favorite. But the restaurant management should pay attention to its staff. The female waiter spilled water on me, threw plates, and was very unfriendly. An amazing restaurant with even better service and atmosphere. The restaurant is very chic and if you’re lucky to dine outside you will become witness to the beautiful sunset of Thessaloniki’s coastal view.
