My husband and I came here and we were waiting outside to be seated. We were totally ignored. The tables outside were all taken as were the inside tables. We asked a waiter how long the wait time was and it was like we were talking to the wall. No one even acknowledged us. We should’ve left, but the food looked so good and we were starving. Finally, we saw someone walking out of the restaurant and we ran in and sat at their table. We sat there for about 30 minutes until someone came and took our order. And then we waited another half hour to get our food. My husband and I ordered a chicken dish which was excellent. But no one came by to check on us and ask us if we wanted something else. We never saw our waiter again. Then when we were ready to pay, my husband gave him our credit card and he said CASH ONLY. What?! Are you kidding me? What if we didn’t have the cash on us? How can you expect people to pay in cash? There was nothing posted that said CASH ONLY. We will never come here again. They may have good food but their service leaves a lot...

American tourist here Large portions. Did not know what a "traditional katsemaka" is but ordered it anyway as I like to try new things. Also ordered a side of lemon potatoes and baked feta. The side of potatoes was easily 5-6 medium potatoes, cut into quarters, and they were so good. It was a lot more food than expected for a side dish. The baked feta was creamy and eaten in under five minutes. The server had said the katsemaka was "like a club sandwich" but the only thing similar between them in my opinion is the katsemaka is in three layers. It has three large pitas layered in bbq pork, tomato, onion, and I don't know what else, I kind of blacked out when I saw it brought to the table. It was much larger than expected! I could only eat half and the nice server bagged the rest for us. I don't know how I fit in bites of the sweet, syrupy orange cake that was complimentary but I did, and that too was delicious. I definitely recommend...

The good was good (even though it is difficult to find a bad place to eat in northern Greece) We were 3 people, they for got one plate. Since we know the service is bad in Greece, we thought they would serve the plates at different times, as they usually do but they did not. We, therefore, asked for the 3rd plate and this is when we were aware they forgot it. The third plate was served when we had finished eating. Finally, we asked the waiter the meat to take away but we would still eat the fries and the vegetables. They only bring back the meat in the take away package. They did not even bothered to excuse themselves properly but very quickly while the waiter already left the table with the money in his hand. They only have ketchup and mustard, no mayonnaise. We come every year to Thessaloniki but this is not a spot/restaurant we...

An absolutely fantastic location for some serious meat. We only found out about this place as a recommendation from a barista at a cafe closeby called Stori (also recommended)! The salads are recommended to cut through the meats which can get heavy. We went for the lamb chops and the lamb shank (lamb kebab on the menu but was anything but a kebab). The meat was tender, juicy, loaded with good buttery lemb fat, and charred to perfection with lots of crispy bits without the meat being overcooked. The staff were also really friendly in giving suggestions and explaining some of their grilling and dishes. Given that it's smack in the middle of the touristy area of the city center, the restaurant itself was full of locals and was an all round great experience at very reasonable prices.
