I’m writing this review as a response to my friend Metin’s review, and the personalized, wrong and rude response he gets from the restaurant.
First of all, we were 3 friends with 2 kids from Spain, Ukraine, Turkey. I personally have Japanese and Thai restaurants, and my friends are also in F&B and luxury service businesses. So, we have a good understanding about service standards, and we never complaint about the behavior of waiter that was the only reason why service rate was 3 star in previous comment.
As a restaurant owner I value each of my guests opinion with respect even if I disagree, and I expect same from the places I go as well. About your response, I kindly would like to correct some of the details, since I was also there:
We specifically told we don’t want something sweet but sour, and he added that I can ask for them to make more sour if necessary. At the result, we had couple sip and asked for change if possible, and got response as “sure”.
About Baos, I have never had that big bun so it maybe the reason why it smelt raw. But it wasn’t the way I used to have bao for sure.
About check, there’s a miswriting in the previous comment. Spring rolls were complimentary by waiter and was not included in check, but were still tasteless. Also, for risotto we said let’s wait until we have baos, and as waiter also confirmed at the end there was a misunderstanding.
Lastly, how we can be irritating while trying to be polite enough to finish spring rolls that we didn’t like in order to respect waiter.
Anyway, I think these details is enough for one night and to be honest I have received so many feedbacks in my career, and some of them were really hurting. But never disrespected any of my guest as you did, but welcomed and hoped to meet them again.

To follow up to the owner’s response: This occurred on Saturday night around 20:00. I arrived and asked for a table for one. I was seated inside and a young man immediately brought me a water. However, no other staff acknowledged or looked in my direction for at least ten minutes. I watched and listened to the bar staff and other wait staff carry on personal conversations very loudly and obnoxiously. Finally, after 10 minutes, a blond girl approached my table asking if I wanted a drink. As I had never received a menu, I asked if they had menus. She returned with both the drinks and food menu. As I looked at them, I was startled by extremely loud screaming laughter. Read moreThe place that we couldn’t understood why it has high rating at all!! We ordered their special exotic cocktail and baos with waiter’s suggestions. However, baos dough was raw and coctail was too sweet.
Then we thought, he was giving a gesture to change our cocktails with new ones (this time we went safe, margarita and negroni), and he brought complimentary spring rolls (tasteless) to say sorry.
Yet, at the end we noticed that all were included in the check, it was our first night in Thessaloniki and couldn’t be worse I guess.
