Takadum — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

We decided to eat here two days ago. Location is nice, food is good, and the prices are reasonable.

However, the service was terrible. We had to wait 20minutes before we could even order our drinks. I had to wait an additional hour to get my food, after I got the wrong order 2 times in a row. The staff was very rude, and not even an apology for the inconvenience. Eventually the boss had to come to our table. It looked like he didn't even care either. He suggested a discount, followed by a very rude interaction with the boss, implying "is this normal in your country? Where are you from?" It doesn't matter, this kind of customer service (if you even could call it "service") shouldn't be acceptable in any country.

Answers like "it's very busy" is not an excuse if you sacrifice customer service.

With a little bit of compassion or even an apology, compensation or discount could easily been avoided. But the boss with a very irritated apology, only after...

Not a nice experience. All tableware was dirty, the plates were really warnoff and had some bits missing, 2 beer glasses brought to us, also dirty. They brought us 1 botlle of steel water that we didn't ordered, but we thaught is smtng nice&free from them because we had the same treatment at other locations on the same street as Takadum. We then ordered the food and we had 1 basket of bread brought to us, that we didn't ordered, but the waiter said is something they bring to every table. The food was mediocre, nothing much to talk about The thing that annoyed us it was at the end when we had to wait like 30-40 min to get the check cash, we asked 3 different persons to bring it and then we saw that we had to pay 2 portions of breand and the water that we didn't ordered. It was a very busy day so I will try and be lenient. As a customer I do not accept the service to be ultra happy as of they don't work for minimum wage. Having said that, yesterday the waiter took it to another level. Plain setting the plates on the table not saying the slightest word. I tried to make room for more plates by giving them the empty ones and they simply ignored me and left, leaving me with a full table and empty plates at hand.

The food was poor to mediocre. When you get a portion of grilled mushrooms you expect it to have more than 3 mushrooms cut in half.

Finally, the prices were ok but the quality and quantity of the food was reflected on the price.
