Edit: Following the restaurant’s response to my review, I need to set the record straight. Claiming that there was no reservation under our details is simply false. I have written confirmation by email as well as a screenshot of a phone call lasting several minutes with the restaurant this very morning, during which today’s table was reconfirmed.

Trying to shift the blame by suggesting the reservation never existed is not only unprofessional, but also insulting to paying customers who come with clear proof in hand. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, the restaurant chose to deny reality.

This attitude is unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility and dismissing guests’ evidence shows a complete lack of respect and accountability. The whole experience left us not only without our table, but also with a very bitter impression of how this restaurant treats its guests.

For anyone considering this place: think twice. There are plenty of restaurants that value their customers — this is clearly not one of them.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. A table on the terrace was booked well in advance, exactly because we knew that reservations should be made early. The booking was even confirmed again this very morning. Yet, when we arrived — on time, even slightly early — we were told that no reservation existed for us at all.

This is beyond unprofessional. Losing (or possibly even deleting) a confirmed reservation shows a complete lack of organization and respect for guests. Instead of enjoying a planned evening, we were left frustrated, embarrassed, and utterly disappointed.

A restaurant that treats customers this way simply cannot be recommended. If you are considering coming here for a special occasion, be prepared for the risk that your reservation may vanish into thin air. Very sad experience. The portions are just extremely small. Not just small like European small, but small appetizer for one person small. Yes, the main courses, (our family of 4 had one each), are all way too small. And of course they are all very expensive. One of the main courses was supposed to be some kind of small sausages, but it was 50% fat. We showed the waitress and she asked if she could take it to the kitchen to show the cook. Sure. No compensation, no substitute. This was close to a $300 meal for the 4 of us, and we all left hungry. We went to eat elsewhere afterwards. The view is nice, but not worth eating here. Avoid eating here.

Follow up after receiving reply from restaurant: The restaurant could not find that we had a reservation, implying we did not dine there. So, I'm attaching the actual reservation conformation, made months ahead. Also, so everybody can judge the portion size, here is a picture of the actual main course we received. Restaurant claimed the comply with standard portion sizes. This can be true, I do not know. So, look at the pictures and see for yourselves if this is reasonable. I have been familiar with this establishment for several years, and I must say, it is nothing short of exceptional. Opening at noon, it provides an ideal setting, whether for a leisurely morning coffee or a sophisticated dining experience later in the day.

The service here is consistently outstanding, managing to accommodate guests even during peak hours. Whenever I am asked for recommendations by those new to the city, this is invariably my first choice. The combination of a splendid view and impeccable service makes it a standout.

During my recent visit with companions from the UK and Finland, they were thoroughly impressed; one even described it as a 'hidden gem' in Thessaloniki, accessible only to those familiar with the city. Additionally, I suggested this venue to a gentleman from Norway seeking a memorable dining experience for his girlfriend—a testament to its reputation for creating unforgettable moments.
