Disappointing Restaurant Experience

I recently visited this restaurant 09/06/2023 with high hopes (given the reviews) of a delightful dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. I regretfully label this establishment as a tourist trap that should be avoided at all costs.

First and foremost, the behavior of the chef was highly unprofessional. It was evident he was intoxicated, which is completely unacceptable in any culinary setting. This not only compromised the quality of the dishes but also reflected poorly on the restaurant's overall management and professionalism.

To make matters worse, my party and I were seated between two tables that encountered significant issues. The patrons at the first table received incorrect orders, and it wasn't until one customer pointed it out that the mistake was acknowledged. The chef, in a rather nonchalant manner, explained that they were lacking the necessary ingredients for the correct dish. Such a lack of attention to detail and organization is simply unacceptable.

The second table, just like ours, was left unimpressed with the food and expressed their dissatisfaction by immediately requesting the bill upon its arrival. Unfortunately, we had a similar experience. The quality of the food was subpar, and it failed to meet even the most basic expectations. It was genuinely disappointing, and I regret having spent my time and money on such an underwhelming meal.

Considering the aforementioned factors, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. The combination of a drunken chef, incorrect orders, and unsatisfactory food makes it clear that the establishment lacks the necessary standards to provide a satisfactory dining experience. Zorba the Greek experience, for those old enough to remember. We had the best dinner in Greece at this restaurant, especially catering to seafood lovers. The seafood platter for two was fantastic! Cooked and seasoned to perfection, and they were generous with the wine servings and ouzo shots after dinner. The live Greek music in the evening added to the culinary experience, and had the patrons yelling, "Opa!" The traditional breaking of dishes was a fun addition to the show. This is an absolutely incredible place! From the first step inside, I was surrounded by an atmosphere of warmth and comfort, as if I was visiting old friends. The menu amazes with its diversity: there is literally everything here - from classic dishes to bold experiments in taste. And, of course, delicious food! the dishes are prepared with obvious love and attention to detail. And, of course, a huge thank you to the staff - friendly and helpful people who do everything possible to make you feel at home.
