The tastiest cuisine in Santorini!!! Pay attention to directions on getting here, it is somewhat hidden, down a few alleys. Once we arrived we were greeted, given opportunity to select our own table. You can choose indoor or out, we choose indoor as it was a bit chilly for early May. The craft cocktails are creative and delightful! We started with their version of the Espresso Martini, served in a golden, chilled martini glass which was a very nice touch! We each ordered a starter, my husband had the meatballs that he drooled over and I had the tomato salad...mouthwatering, actually as I think back on it!!! For entrees we had a pasta truffle dish, and I had the chicken. Everything was seasoned just right, the chicken was so tender, it was an amazing meal! The decor was a bit old looking to me, but I think that is what they are going for, with fine art on the walls. Do not get discouraged by the decor, as you WILL NOT be disappointed in your meal!!! So i visited this place with my girlfriend for a dinner some days ago while we were in Santorini. The hotel that we were staying told us that this place would be perfect for us and that was true!! The access was very easily cause it’s close to Malteza’s Square. When we arrived the staff greeted us and asked us if we had a reservation ( I recommend to do for better service). Then we got sitten to a table next to the pool. We got our drinks and in a blink of an eye, the Ladenia Bread was on the table with its amazing sides. After a few minutes or so, our first starters came. We chose the Greek Tomato salad, the Catch of the day Ceviche (the catch was a Cutlle Fish) and last but not least the Beef Bruschetta. Everything was amazing but when the main courses arrived the it got much more interesting!! My girlfriend picked the Grilled Chicken “Souvlaki” and i took the Catch of the day Fillet ( the catch for the fillet was Shi Drum Fish). Everything was excellent!! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would- we stayed at the meroviglia boutique hotel and absolutely loved our stay. We decided to dine at the restaurant and were blown away with the entire experience. Ioanna, aris, George and Dimitris were some of the staff that took care of us and everyone was kind, charming, funny and helpful! The dinner by chef kostas was absolutely fantastic- everything was fresh, flavourful and unique in flavour. We enjoyed lime grapefruit and fresh grouper ceviche, delicious homemade focaccia, caprese salad with roasted eggplant and pistachio, seafood orzo, spinach risotto and beef cheek risotto and all was absolutely mouthwatering and beautifully presented.
