Meroviglia Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Meroviglia Boutique Hotel for two nights, and we must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the Hotel Manager Yoanna warmly greeted us and made us feel right at home. She was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed.

The entire staff, including Yoanna, Yannis and all were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Their genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel like valued guests. It was refreshing to be treated with such care and kindness.

The rooms at the hotel have been newly renovated, and they are simply fantastic. The attention to detail and the modern design created a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. And let us tell you, the bed was unbelievably comfortable! We had some of the best nights' sleep we've had in a long time.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We were lucky enough to have a room with a stunning vista, and it made our stay even more memorable. Waking up to such a beautiful sight was truly a treat.

Although we didn't have the chance to try the hotel's restaurant, we did have the pleasure of meeting the young chef, who exuded enthusiasm and passion for her craft. We couldn't help but be excited to try her creations next time we visit.

One of the highlights of our stay was spending time in the hotel's courtyard. It was such a charming and enjoyable space that it made it hard for us to leave the hotel. Whether we were relaxing with a book or enjoying a drink, the courtyard provided the perfect ambiance to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.

All in all, we would highly recommend the Meroviglia Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a remarkable stay. The friendly and attentive staff, the newly renovated rooms, the heavenly bed, the stunning view, and the delightful courtyard all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Amazing Honeymoon. Stunning. Outstanding. Sublime. Ioanna our manager, Chef, Kostas, Demetrius, George, all the staff and cleaning staff and maintenance manager, 10/10 resort. It was just perfect for our getaway the day after we got married. Imeroviglia is probably the best place to stay in Santorini. It’s got incredible views of the Caldera (centre of the volcano) and it is not too loud or busy during the pre summer season. It is intimate, staff are attentive, and feels like a villa away from home. We cannot wait to fly back and enjoy our time there again for anniversaries. You could blow 10000 on a stay in Santorini for a week, but there is no reason to do that. Pick this place instead for a real and more authentic experience. It’s a place where you want to experience the boutique and kind service and beautiful architecture away from where all the hype is. Like many reviews here, all you need to do is walk 15-20 minutes and you’re inside Fira where the busyness is. You are fairly central here on the island so you can taxi to Oia or Akrotiri easily. The perfect home base in Santorini. It is close to the airport, it has a beautiful seaside walk, amazing Gyro sandwiches nearby, and restaurants that will blow your mind like Selene, Varoulko, The Athenian Grill, and many other places. The Figo restaurant at the hotel makes incredible Hellenic-Italian food. You have to eat their steak or pasta or pretty much anything they have on the menu. Breakfast was a constant delight every day, with proud high-end coffee and fresh squeezed juice that will keep you fondly thinking of Santorini. An unforgettable stay at Megroviglia Boutique Hotel!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and complimentary drinks (we went with the wine, of course). The check-in process was smooth, and we were personally assisted to our room, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise!

The room was stylishly furnished, spacious, and came with two private balconies, both felt like our own peaceful retreat. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and it really elevated our experience.

Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a delicious variety of options and consistently excellent service. The hotel amenities, especially the pool and sunbeds, made it even harder to leave! Megroviglia truly exceeded our expectations. The service was top-tier, the hosting incredibly warm, and every part of our stay felt special.

The hotel is centrally located in Imerovigli, with a perfect sunset spot just behind the property. It’s also the ideal base for exploring the beautiful caldera of Imerovigli, which (in my opinion) is even more breathtaking than Fira or Oia. You can easily walk to Fira in about 20–30 minutes, making it convenient without sacrificing peace and quiet.
