Bumped into this place while we waited for our boat. Gotta say it was such a great experience and so happy we stopped in. Right off the bat I’m a sucker for great service and Gabriel immediately noticed a pin I was wearing and saw that it was my birthday. Gave me a little bday shot and asked us where we were from. At that moment I knew he was a real person and actually cared to get to know the customer. There were a few people both times we passed by and each time Gabriel was on point and doing his thing. He even gave us local recommendations and gave us insight on the local music and cocktail vibes. They played great music each time also plus it’s in a great location. Right next to the main boat dock where you travel to other spots on the lake

It’s a beautiful ambiance and our waiter was great but unfortunately the food was just bad. It looks pretty, but the shrimp in the tacos tasted like they were frozen before and the “tacos de res” that my partner ordered came with a different meat entirely and none of the toppings that were listed on the menu. If you want to go for a drink it’s fine (a little expensive) but I can’t recommend eating here. Also note that they offer a discount if you leave a good review so many of these reviews are not genuine.

Azul Rosa ist ein unwahrscheinlich magischer Ort. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich, sowohl bei Tag als auch am Abend. Es läuft immerzu sehr entspannte, groovy Musik an der Bar und am dazugehörigen Restaurant Besito, die perfekt zum Ausblick über den See passt. Ab Donnerstags gibt es das ganze Wochenende über Live DJs aus unterschiedlichen Ländern, die den einzig richtigen Techno/Elektro vibe in Panajachel erzeugen. Bei unserem Besuch war die Bar oben geöffnet und alle haben die ganze Nacht getanzt zu DJ Sght aus Paris. An anderen Tagen ist auch eine große Open Air Stage geöffnet, die Events sind unglaublich! (Check Instagram @clubazulrosa) Hab sehr liebe Menschen dort kennen gelernt! Danke für alles 🧚🏽‍♀️

I don’t know what I was thinking when booking this, assuming it would be fun chill idea, as I love electronic music 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s Thursday past midnight, there’s a crazy loud music blasting not from one, but two clubs in front of our hut - reggaeton and techno, both equally EMPTY - we were the last staying till 11:30 pm, with no one else around. We asked the staff whether they will close early since there’s no one, but they said no, and just kept music louder, quite desperately. The door to the hut doesn’t fully close, so the music and mosquitos come in freely. No hooks for clothes inside. The outside shower was warm for 10 sec, then the water got cold. Staff wasn’t aware that we partially paid online. Sad place. Also, I booked this one, but in reality it’s Maca Hostel, which has a way lower...
