Restaurante el tipico — Restaurant in Panajachel

We was walking around to find breakfast, and wanted to try this place. They got wifi and payment by creditvards is possible. My wife did order a tomato soup where she got one toast bread with. It did cost 40 GTQ. I did order economy breakfast menu 2 for 40 GTQ, which was the only one without meat i think. Scramble or fried egg, juice or coffee/tea, roasted bananas, mashed black beans and tortilla or bread. And we did order pancakes with maple syrup, you got 3 pieces for 40 GTQ. The food did taste great and the service was good. But no english menu. They add 10 % tip...

This was the most indifferent service ever. There were three young touts on their cel phones who left it to one young kid to take my order. The kid then went on his cel phone too. The food was edible but pretty sub-average. The veggies were previously frozen and the grilled chicken was tough as leather....

We needed to eat something fast and they served ua a delicious churrasco (carne asado,) in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely delicious! It came with vegetables, rice, guacamole and tortillas for a very good price. Nice music and on the main street...
