The food was nice, yet it was the only good thing there. First red flag appeared when the girl, whose table we wanted to take, wasn’t able to pay her bill for 10-15 minutes because no waiters stopped to check in on her. We decided to stay and wait at the entrance hence the sign “please wait to be seated”. The wait wasn’t long, however, we were immediately met with dismissive attitude from the waitress. My friend and I were a bit confused because we really wanted to take the table outside (that the aforementioned girl was leaving), and the waitress just waved her hand in an unknown direction telling us to go to the terrace.

We went outside to sit, but after a few minutes passed, the waitress came to our table and was almost offended we sat at this particular table and not the other one we were supposed to. Sorry we didn’t get it, but no one actually guides you to the table, even though this type of seating is usually set up to avoid confusion. The waitress asked us to leave and when we started to gather our things, changed her mind and let us eat there.

As I’ve mentioned, the food was fine and we didn’t have to wait long – but our drinks got messed up two times, and when we finally got the coffee we asked for in the beginning, the cup of americano was only half full.

And after all the pleasantries we were supposed to pay 12% service fees. For what? I think having service fees included in the bill is fine to protect the workers, but the attitude has to match, no? But as I’ve gathered from the reviews, the service fee goes to the owners which I also don’t get.

The final nail in the coffin were the two girls near us who left without ordering because no one came to check on them in a long time. Maybe we just came in on a bad day, but the service was definitely below standard. Would...

This place is a little overhyped and seems to be more of a go to Tourist spot than a locals spot.

We decided to eat here because the day before we saw a long line and then a day later there was no line, so we wanted to see what it was all about. We came around 1230pm on a weekday.

For the service, after ordering our drinks and food together, our drinks came in about 10 minutes, but our food took about 45 minutes. By that time, I had no more drink left because I had to drink my cappuccino as it was already cold. Also, the orange juice they give you is literally a few sips worth. It's really sad.

As for the food, I got the "omelet" and my wife got the blueberry compote waffles. The waffles were really good. The omelet was just whipped up eggs with some chives on top. That's not an omelet.

As for paying, they already add a 12% fee but then the waiter asks for a tip on top of that. When I asked them about the 12% service fee, the waiter said that goes to management. What is management doing stealing from their waiters? Is management serving the customers or are the waiters. This is completely wrong! I've seen other customers complain about this and all they say is "we'll look into this". They've been looking into it for years, which means they aren't doing anything to fix it.

All in all, this is a tourist trap! All other restaurant is charging a mandatory 12% service fee. They know they're getting customers from the West so they can get away with it because of the tipping culture in the West. You're better off spending your...

We had truly unpleasant experience. Our group of five visited the establishment intending to have a few drinks. At first, one of the staff members was friendly and took our order without any issue. However, shortly after, the person in charge showed up with a completely unwelcoming attitude.

He brought our drinks in a rude and dismissive manner. He also told us, in a sarcastic and disrespectful tone, “This is a restaurant, not a bus station café,” and abruptly took the menus from our table, leaving us without the chance to look at anything else. Some of the drinks were even served in disposable cups, clearly suggesting we weren’t welcome because we didn’t order food.

As we finished our drinks—already feeling uncomfortable—the manager kept glaring at us and sighing loudly, making it clear he was unhappy with our presence. When we requested the complaint form, he continued to act in a condescending and disrespectful manner.

We were simply a group of young tourists wanting to enjoy a casual drink, and instead we were met with unnecessary hostility. It’s truly disappointing to be treated this way, especially in a place that should welcome guests. If only drinks aren’t allowed, it should be clearly communicated before taking the order.

On top of everything, we were charged an abusive service fee, despite the fact that they knew we had been treated terribly. I truly hope no other tourist has to go through a...

My friend and I went here for brunch on a Saturday. As expected there was a short queue but the wait wasn’t too long (5-10mins). However, shortly after we were seated the waiter promptly asked for our orders, when had barely chosen our drinks. He dismissed us rather rudely (an “ok bye”, we thought it was a joke at first) when realising we had not yet decided what we wanted to eat before he understood our drinks of choice. Our coffees came, and as we tried to order the food we discovered that only one waiter could take our requests and the other was just for delivering food and drink. So we had to wait longer until our coffees went cold to order our food. We both chose the hash browns with guacamole and cheddar sauce. It was alright. Could have used some more seasoning (salt and pepper made a large difference already). Guacamole went practically unnocticed. Cheddar sauce and eggs were good I will admit. Hash browns could’ve been crispier for my taste. Overall, bit of a disappointment considering the hype, good reviews and hefty price (12% service fee without tip). Especially service - they were quite cold, impatient and had a bit of an attitude, combined with an unapproachable demeanour. They just about managed to force out an “enjoy your meal”. I will say one of the female waiters, waiting an adjacent table seemed very nice though from observation.
