CORTO — Restaurant in Budapest

So basically, I kindly asked them to make a large latte with only 1 shot of coffee inside (I mentioned this approximately 3 times), but they made it with 2 shots anyway. They offered to replace it, but I was in a rush, so I ended up throwing the coffee away. Furthermore, it was super cold. The only good things about this place are the lemon loaf and maybe the sandwiches. Sorry, guys, but I won't be coming back here again.

Update: I already mentioned that he offered me to do again but i was in the rush. Isn’t it better to listen instructions? Anyways in my point of view my rating is fair enough. End of the story i paid 4500 HUF for lemon cake and sandwiches maybe it could be better to accept your fault and say sorry?...

Flat white is way below average but that is not surprising seeing they use a cheap espresso machine. It is also hot to the point it is difficult to hold the glass (milk is burned) 4/10

The apple pie is the worst I had in Hungary and they don't even provide any cream with it 1/10

P.S: in response to the owner's reply ; yes, I did drink the flat white because it is coffee (albeit badly prepared) and I needed a caffeine shot.

As for the apple pie I could only eat half of it (though I was hungry) because it literally tasted like baby food in between dry and tasteless...

Among a dozen nail salons and half a dozen Thai massage spots on O utca—finally—a good coffee spot. The size of the offering is impressive relative to the size of the place. Bagel sandwich, paleo cake, muffins, a mystery crescent, did I even see a joghurt with musli? 😮 Bonus points for the fact that americano comes in two sizes.

With a clean and spacious decor, feels uncrowded even when full of people. You can sit watch the street and pretend you're (rich enough to be) one of the guests of the nearby Hard Rock Hotel.
