My day was ruined today. Last year, I received a birthday gift card (voucher) from a friend. Today, I went to this store. When I paid, I wanted to show them my voucher. A waiter about 175cm tall said loudly, "I printed out your details." But I didn't swipe the card. I made my request before swiping the card. He seemed to blame the customer for not saying it before. If I knew I had to say it before entering the door, I would definitely say that it was my first time here. I didn't expect to ruin my day. The clerk was very rude and suggested that I come back next time to use my voucher. The saying "customers are God" may be false. Maybe only those who really consume dare to tell the truth. The bacon was a little burnt, very hard and salty. Can the owner of this store improve the quality of this store's employees?
Even I have this gift card,why I cannot use before payment?Is it because the clerk is lazy and doesn’t want to print out a detailed statement after the discount? I think it is racial discrimination!!! I need an apology!!!
++ comments:
First of all, you printed a receipt, not a payment. Your receipt should tell you what you ordered and then confirm it before paying. Secondly, I complained about the service attitude. As a popular store, shouldn't you put customers first? Secondly, your apology was perfunctory, and you didn't understand the actual situation. You also said on Google Maps that it was my problem, my voucher couldn't be used, and asked me to use it next time, so what is the purpose of this voucher? Is this your marketing method? What should I do if you can't use it for some reason next time I come? ? What I need is an apology from the clerk. If his attitude is a little better, or you ask before paying, this is your problem, what I need is an apology from the clerk or your compensation! Or refund my voucher! As a customer, I can't understand being accused by your clerk. It's really unacceptable. Printing a receipt is just to tell customers what we ordered, not the final payment. If you clicked something wrong, you can also modify it, so you are making up your mind, or the clerk is too lazy, or you just don't want me to use my voucher! If there is no relevant apology or compensation, I will expose the behavior of your Oprea store. That waiter ruined our day. Are you the boss? Please train your employees so that they can listen to the demands and wishes of customers, because you are the ones who make the rules! If you don’t follow the rules, don’t make them. In this way, the vouchers should not be sold online. If they cannot be used before payment, when can they be used? As soon as I entered the door, I had to ask the clerk if I had a voucher to use! ? I don’t understand your way of handling it! Very dissatisfied!!! I have eaten at your restaurant many times, and the attitude of other branches is very good. I am also an old customer, but the way Opera handled it is really...
Read moreThis place looks super cute and very inviting, so we have been so looking forward to having breakfast here, as passed by the shop many times and was always busy. We should have checked the reviews first before going to eat there. Unfortunately we have experienced many of the things other people have complained about... We went on a Saturday morning and it was understandably busy. We had to wait for a table for about 15 minutes and they don’t have any queue system in place. We have seen people sitting alone at a table for 6 people. We ordered flat white for 850 HUF which was quite nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. I understand it was busy, but the amount of time we had to spend waiting for our food was way too long in my opinion. My husband ordered bacon and eggs, but there wasn’t overly too much bacon included. He also ordered extra avocado to go with his meal, which costed 450 HUF and in return he received 4 small slices of avocado... I have ordered bread with avocado and salmon, but they have brought a salami and cheese toastie instead. After admitting the mistake, they said just give them five minutes to prepare the correct order, but I had to wait over 10 minutes. Once it arrived it tasted quite nice, but have not had the “wow factor”. All in all I think the food is very overpriced compared to...
Read moreWhat a lucky find! We were actually on our way to another place for breakfast when we stumbled upon this place. Al fresco seating, busy but not overcrowded, we were sat immediately and given such a friendly welcome we knew we were in the right place. The coffee was perfect, the juice freshly squeezed… like the oranges were just plucked from the tree… clever presentation of scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage… cooked inside the scramble. We could not stop our curiosity so we ordered two more items if for no other reason just to SEE what it was going to look like. The french toast… honestly, they should call this Hungarian Toast… because with all the fruit toppings and most interesting and tasty, sweet syrup… this is no french toast like I have ever had. My wife had simple Eggs Benedict but the yolk was orange, rich and full of flavor on top of what we think were baked-that-minute biscuits… with a side of authentic Hungarian sausage! Holy smokes, this was the best breakfast we’ve had since arriving to Europe! And the staff, charming and delightful… with a special shout to P**a: thank you so much for the wonderful advice, lesson in Budapest culture and for the information on how to become a sister restaurant to yours when we get back to California. Restaurateurs: inquire within! 10/10...
