Fröccsterasz — Restaurant in Budapest

I recently visited Fröccsterasz, and I have to say it was quite a disappointing experience. First of all, the toilet use was ridiculously expensive, costing a whopping 400 forints. That's way too much for a basic necessity.

To make matters worse, they had this non-logical "coupons" system in place. Apparently, you had to use these coupons at one place to be able to pay for your food at another kiosk. It was confusing and made no sense at all. It just added unnecessary complications to our food ordering process.

Moreover, the drinks were ridiculously overpriced. I couldn't believe how much they were charging for a simple beverage. It felt like they were taking advantage of the customers and trying to squeeze out as much money as possible.

But what really topped it all off was the rude behavior of the hosts. They were dismissive, inattentive, and downright impolite. It's disheartening when the people serving you treat you with such disrespect.

To add insult to injury, I attended a movie night that was supposed to start at 8:00 PM. However, the reality was far from that. The screening didn't begin until a frustrating 20 minutes later. It was a complete disregard for the advertised time and left everyone waiting and frustrated.

Overall, my experience at Fröccsterasz was nothing short of disappointing. The expensive toilet use, illogical coupon system, overpriced drinks, and rude hosts left a sour taste in my mouth. And the delayed movie night just added to the frustration. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my...

This past June 2024, our family, along with two others, visited Froccsterasz for dinner, bringing along our 2-year-old child. We ordered food and cocktails, and my husband was peacefully dancing near the stage when security approached him and asked him to stop. He politely inquired about the issue, but this escalated into an argument.

Suddenly, two large security guards physically restrained him, throwing him to the ground. In an attempt to help him, we were met with aggression from additional security personnel, who began pushing us away and even used pepper spray. We were not fighting or being disrespectful; we were simply trying to pull my husband away from the situation. After all security broke his leg in two places.

We were then forcibly removed from the restaurant despite our sober and respectful behavior. The police arrived and treated us rudely, confiscating our passports.

When the police arrived, the security guards were standing by and laughing as they watched us, including a woman crawling on the ground from the pepper spray they had used in our eyes, and my husband screaming in pain from his broken leg.Everyone except for my husband, who was taken to the hospital, was detained. After reviewing the camera footage, the police acknowledged that we had done nothing wrong and released us the following day.

I want to emphasize that my husband was simply dancing and not bothering anyone. There are better ways to communicate with guests about rules, even if they are not...

Our impression was good, food drinks , waiters till the moment when the very rude security person aporoched us... We were standing next to the bar finishing our drinks when he aporoched us telling us to leave, we kindly ask for few minutes to finish our drinks and then he told us « you have five seconds » as we were supposed to commit any crime there spending our money at this place. I’d like to ask the owner of this place if this is a standard way how they are treating their clients because if yes I wouldn’t come back there and I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. I was treated as a criminal after spending my money there. It was quite visible I ‘d leave this club because I was standing their after the day of shopping with bags and I didn’t look like somebody who wants to get into the club without paying.What more, everything happend durings women’s day.
