Visited REBEL Burger & More during a recent trip to Budapest and while the experience wasn't bad, it didn't quite meet our expectations either. The option of having a gluten-free bun was a pleasant surprise, catering well to dietary restrictions. However, when it came to the burger itself, I must confess that I've tasted better elsewhere. It lacked that unique punch that a gourmet burger joint should ideally boast of.

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not offer any kid meals which was a bit of a downer for our family. The fact that side dishes and condiments were priced separately only added to the overall expense, making the meal feel a tad overpriced for what we received. With drinks, we ended up spending nearly 6,000 HUF per person, which equates to 30,000 HUF for our family of five.

Considering the price, the quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience simply didn't match up. While the staff were friendly, they seemed a bit overwhelmed during peak hours which may have affected the service speed.

While I appreciate the modern, lively ambiance of REBEL and their attempt at crafting a unique burger experience, I believe there is significant room for improvement, particularly in terms of value for money. Would we return? Perhaps, but not before exploring other culinary options in the vibrant city of Budapest first.

Here's hoping the restaurant takes this feedback on board for the benefit of...

Came into this place by searching on Google , was one of the place that opens late at 10:00pm.

Spacious space was my first impression, many chairs and tables for eating. Various spaces and vibing decoration.

One plus point for the menu is they have various vegi options which I found quiet cool. However, the burger is so “industrial” for me. It left absolutely no impression, very normal for such a price. You need to pay extra for ketchup or mayo in some burgers, as the burger has no sauce but not much around 1€ or even less… The fries were even better than the burger for my taste😛

The reason why I rated this place such low, is the service. Basically this is like a self-service place - you bring your food, you take your food and you clean it. Eventhough that in the food you order is already INCLUDES 15% service tips as written in the menu but at the cashier when you done ordering, they will ask if want to give tips in the very unfriendly way “you can choose to tips 5% 10% or even 0%”. When I was confusing looking again at the menu and wondering why more tips, they acted up a bad behavior and said you can put 0 tip, dont even wait for me to react, they just go ahead and cash that. Unacceptable!

Will never come back here again, sorry! I would love to give tips if it was a nice service, but here, … just forget it with that...

I had an exceptional dining experience!

Food: Goat Burger: The goat burger was a delightful combination of a perfectly cooked beef patty topped with rich and creamy goat cheese. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh. Onion Rings: The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. They were crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Vegan Burger: I had the Beyond Meat vegan burger with cheddar cheese. Initially, the cheese was forgotten, but the staff handled the situation excellently. They were quick to rectify the mistake and brought out the corrected order very fast. The vegan burger was delicious and satisfying, making it a great option for plant-based eaters.

Service: The service was outstanding. Despite the small hiccup with my order, the staff was incredibly polite, efficient, and eager to ensure that we had a great dining experience. Their quick and friendly response to the issue was much appreciated.

Overall, Rebel Burger and More is a must-visit for burger lovers in Budapest. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly...

Great little burger / mexican place with quite a small, yet adequate, menu. Food was very tasty and I'd pop in here again for an 'off the street' food fix - much as we did this time. Had the Kamikaze burger myself, with an extra side order of Jalapeno's, for which I was given a strange look for free - Hey, I like hot and spicy - I'd have had finger chillies if they had them. Anyway it was great. The fries were sort of 'U-shaped', or 'C-shaped' if you stood them on their side, and thinned towards the edges; very clever, they were certainly crunchy. Partner had the cheeseburger, which was also good. Couple of minor points: First. while adequate, the burgers are certainly not the biggest. Second: ketchup and other condiments come for free at such places. I was sat down with my food in search of ketchup, before being told that I had to return to the queue to order and pay (yes, PAY) for it, then wait for it at the pass. This is an absolute no-no. Others in the group had taco / burrito from the mexican menu without complaint. I would have liked to try it as, from looks alone, I wasn't overly enamoured of it personally.
