This intimate spa offers a blend of positive and constructive aspects. The establishment maintains a high level of cleanliness and boasts a proficient, English-speaking staff. The reception desk is readily available and helpful, and the spa features contemporary and well-maintained saunas, steam baths, and a pool. The massage therapy rooms exude a pleasant and modern ambiance.
However, I would exercise caution before considering this spa. The pool area is rather compact, sometimes leaving little room to comfortably recline. Additionally, the poolside beds may not offer the utmost relaxation and are conducive for only short stints of repose. Following a massage, finding true tranquility in this space might prove challenging. The spa's shower lacks adequately cold water, a standard post-sauna or steam feature, and one of the showers has been inoperable for over a week. Moreover, inconsistency in service is noted, with variations experienced across multiple visits. The first massage therapist displayed a friendly demeanor, adjusting pressure as necessary, while the second seemed somewhat indifferent, potentially driven by company policy rather than genuine warmth. Certain amenities, such as the male restroom, require attention, as they lack a bin for paper towels and have a malfunctioning toilet lid.
Considering the premium price point of this spa relative to local alternatives, one might expect a superior experience. Although they were awarded for excellence in 2019, it appears that the spa may have lost its edge compared to newer competitors in 2023. In summary, it might be prudent to explore alternative spa options, as this establishment's limited space, challenges with post-massage relaxation, inconsistent standards, and service discrepancies leave room for...
Read moreThis place was really amazing. 15 minute walk from Buda side, so you can basically get to anywhere you want to go (except the big bath house) in less than 20 minutes.
Concierge was a life saver. Book everything through them, as the hotel is very respected by the businesses. When we made reservations through the hotel we were clearly treated different (better) and it is just easier. They know everything you need to know about doing things so take the time to ask them and talk to them.
Rooms were great, with lots of nice treats like free chocolates, waters, and fresh fruit. There are cafes and restaurants in the hotel which are reasonable price wise (at least the cafe was).
We did not do the buffet breakfast, because why eat in a hotel when you can do out and hit the town for local food!
The staff were friendly and helpful, but they are booked up so if you are hoping to get a room before the checkin time, don't count on it. Call ahead if you need a room early to see if they can...
Read moreThis place was pretty cool. They had multiple saunas with different temperatures of heat which I loved. I wish the cold plunge was cooler and I expected the main outdoor pool to be warmer than it was. It was exciting being at a place that was fed by natural water. It’s an experience that I think was great.:.. price was ehhhh. Almost enough to go to another place but at the same time, I’m sure the overhead is big. You can get food and drinks there which was great and there were places to dip your feet before you got in the pool so people didn’t track dirt into the pool...
