I came in to check out the place before possibly bringing a group tomorrow. I asked for a lager and was poured the most expensive one for 1350 ft. The bartender didn't explain which beers were available nor did he ask me which one I wanted. Paid 1400 cash and wasn't offered change. I spoke English, so I guess I paid the tourist tax, but for Budapest this type of behavior is rare (I've been here 2 months).

Edit 2023-01-07: I read the management's reply, and unfortunately I cannot agree. You indeed have 3 lagers which is why I was surprised when the bartender began pouring as soon as I said "a lager." He only asked me if I wanted a large or small. If change was not offered, I clearly cannot agree to refuse it by saying "it's ok."
For a craft beer shop, I believe part of the experience is to educate your customers on the variety of your tap instead of being so cavalier with the order (at 4p the bar was virtually empty). Thank you for replying and I hope management can use this as an opportunity to improve. (also changed the date of visit, wrote...
Read moreCame here shortly after opening on a Saturday evening with a small group. The staff politely and professionally helped us to find a table that suited the size of our company even if we had no reservation. There is a good atmospheric vibe unlike similar places in this part of the Körút. The attracted crowd also unlike the patrons of nearby places, expect a more mature audience. The selection and the pricing of the craft beers is excellent. Try Molotov. Definetely...
Read moreIf you like a beer, and who doesn't when you're on holiday, this is definitely the place to try. Not sure what you fancy? There are about 30 different local, international and craft beer brands on offer. They also do a range of spirits. Prices are excellent and so is the service. The staff are happy to provide suggestions and advice. Another plus. When you've gone through the "menu" here, it's only a few paces from a very good kebab shop. Remember folks, drink...
