My experience at BP Bar BQ in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional, mainly due to their divine smoked brisket and the unparalleled service provided by David and the entire staff. The burger was gigantic and full of delicious ingredients. The spareribs was very good. And the brisket was... Good, more than fine, but not 'wow'. But, I also had this feeling in other places (e.g. Rub and Roll), so maybe I expect too much of a brisket.

The mac and cheese was surprisingly nice (I say this as someone who easily dislikes warm cheese in a dish), and the beans (and their sauce!) were again surprisingly delicious. The side dishes were really good!

The last time we came here, it was approximately 16:30 and the entire place was empty, we attempted to sit down at our usual spot (the large table; it's a table where every random person just sits, it's not a table for one group), my girlfriend suggested to try out a table with comfortable couches, and then we were (a bit rudely in tone?) told to sit down on another small table that we knew (from prior experience) would be too small to contain both of our plates. There was no need to send us there, especially as in our previous visits we would just sit down at the large table (we were even told to do so during those visits). Minus one star for that, we left and ate somewhere else.

The atmosphere is nice enough, exactly what you would expect from a barbecue/meat place.

Atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious well prepared and the portion sizes where large for the price they were offered at.

We had brisket with mac&cheese and tripple salad dressing and chicken tacos.

Brisket was superb juicy tasty and well prepared side salads were joyful as well, everything combined made a perfect balance, mac&cheese was cheesy and playful in my mouth.

Chicken tacos were crunchy large and delicious salsa was good guac was amazing and overall balance was perfect.

Drinks were good as well, we had couple of cocktails which were prepared in a standart bar fashion, but the star of the evening for me was owners prepared LongIsland tea, it was one of the best longislands I’ve ever had and the owner came out just to make it as a fun attraction I didn’t ask her to do it because there was plenty of staff behind the bar.
