We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our parents’ 45th wedding anniversary at this incredible restaurant — and it truly deserves 12 out of 10 stars!

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were not only exceptionally friendly and attentive, but also impressively professional, with flawless English that made communication effortless and enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented with a level of aesthetic care that added to the whole experience. Every dish was a delight, and the desserts in particular were beyond praise — a true highlight of the evening.

The recommendations from our waiter were spot on, showing a real understanding of both the menu and our preferences.

This wasn’t just dinner — it was an experience we’ll remember for a long time. Thank you for making such a special occasion even more...

Bela was so courteous, helpful and his recommendations were excellent. Started with the Hungarian Goulash, which came with a basket of sliced brown bread (would have tasted more heavenly if the bread was toasted). A sip of soup, a sip of the house Merlot - so delicious. This was followed by their homemade Hortobagyi ravioli in paprika sauce. Not only lovely to look at, every mouthful was a joy. To finish, the blueberry tart with homemade honeycomb (a childhood favourite according to Bela) and chocolate mousse and passion fruit jam with a hot cup of latte with oat milk. What a great meal to end this Hungarian holiday.

Seated outdoors in the shade, apart from the occasional sirens, the mass dance at Hero’s square with folk music was very special- only happens...

Bistro Hősök completely exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely fantastic — every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. But what truly set this place apart was the impeccable service. Our waiter Vela (please forgive me the wrong spelling) was the best we’ve ever encountered. He could easily teach a masterclass in manners and etiquette in several languages, all while keeping the atmosphere light and entertaining with his sharp sense of humor. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism and personality so perfectly. This experience turned a simple meal into a memorable evening. Highly recommend, and we can’t...
