Szechenyi Palm House — Local services in Budapest

We had the thermal tour booked and it was really overpriced for what you got. In hindsight I would probably just have paid for access to the baths. There are some drinks and fruits that you can access in the relaxation area, but it's nothing special. There was a "Aromatherapy cabin (20 minutes)" listed on the site, that was never mentioned when we were there. But the most annoying thing was that the spa had booked a cabin on the opposite side of the thermal baths, and to get to the reception you had to go across the whole facility (in bathing gear) and get wet. This was a problem because we had been lent bath robes and bath towels for a deposit and to get our deposit back we had to get wet...but then we didn't have any towels. This was never mentioned by the Palm Spa staff so we were already fully clothed when we made the discovery. The least they could do was to accommodate this situation...

Beautiful and large thermal baths. Many tourists come here too. Unfortunately there is no ban on mobile phones or cameras. Lots of people taking photos and filming with no consideration of privacy. Staff very mixed, friendly & helpful and unfriendly &...

Really good. Went on a weekday and seemed pretty clean for the amount of people there. Not easy having to walk between the pools with the middle ones shut down as you get pretty cold being outside. Would be nice if they shut those...
